With all the coupons and great deals I might have to become a B&N member if they keep this up.

Thanks to these coupons, B&N is finally getting their share of my $$$

Also, I wonder if the mods would consider making a sticky for B&N coupons. The seem to be popping up every week now. Makes for good bargains.

Awsome, just picked up something i'd been debating back and forth on for a long time. Six feet under List: $279, B&n price: $215-10% member discount, - 25% coupon = $154 pre tax. Went ahead and put the 15% to use with the "Band of Brothers" set ($40). I've recently been an avid user of DDD, but since the recent b1g1 from B/N and all these coupons i've been using B/N far and beyond more than DDD. They have saved me an ass ton of dollars on sets I had acctually planned on picking up from DDD. Who would have thought a bookstore would become my #1 provider of my precious dvd sets.

I bought a $395 book, on sale for $316, minus 10% member discount, minus 25% coupon, minus $200 in gift cards, for $16.90 out of pocket! I thought I'd never afford that book. I couldn't be happier!

Wow, what kind of book is that costing $395?
Is that Medstudy Books are one of the Frontrunner Board Review book?

Star Wars Sculpting a Galaxy deluxe edition. It comes with replica pieces, and a DVD which the standard $50 book does not have... I know $395 is ridiculous for what you get, but after seeing it (my friend has it) I can justify what I paid...

Exchanged some books that I got around Christmas (and truly never read) from Barnes & Noble, and used the credit to get a B&N membership card.

Looks like it may come in handy.

Here's a question. With that 25% off coupon, is that 25% off AND the everyday 10% off you get while using the card (for a total of 35%)?

YES, Not sure if that is really 35% -- not sure if you can add % s like that -- but it is close to it.

On the purchase page, about 2/3 above the clik to purchase link there is a question -- do you have any coupons or codes, or something like that. If you click that link, an open drop down box opens up for you to input the code.

Or, you know...

10% off the price of the product, for being a member, and then another 25% off the just reduced price?

Although you answered my question, I guess I meant you get the 10% discount AND the 25% discount on top of that.

They do it differently in-store and on website from what I have experienced.

In-store: they take 1 percentage and then the other off the reduced amount, order is not important since the end cost is the same, no matter which order done in.

Website/online: add the percentages together and take that off the selling price. So here for 10% and 25%, it would be 35%. (in-store is less: basically 0.9 * 0.75 = 32.5% off rather than 35% online).

Small percent difference but can be alot if buying something big.
