Thanks Speedy. Do you happen to know if The Departed: Best Buy Limited Edition is the 2 disc edition??? There has been much debate on this. I really hope it is the 2 disc edition, otherwise I'm getting the Target exclusive w/script. If I get confirmation that it is the 2 disc, I am going to be at Best Buy at the opening! Aside from the Departed, I think I'm gonna have to pick up the Rocky: 2 disc and X3. Great prices on those. Thanks again Speedy!

The 2 disc listing has a handful of arrows after the price pointing to the picture. Just like the arrows to the picture for Black Hawk Down, for example.

uh...no where in the description does it say "2-Disc". it is very possible and likely it's 1 (since Futureshop lists only a 1-disc Steelbook), but since there is no "2-Disc" even listed...

Thanks, Speedy! I guess I won't have to take the Circuit City ad to Best Buy to price match The Golden Girls: The Complete Seventh and Final Season, since it is the same price at Best Buy. I can't wait to pick this up.

One question. I've been holding off on X-Men 3: The Last Stand, because I've heard that Fox is working on a 2-Disc Special Edition. Have you heard of a release date for that? If not, do you think I should continue to wait for it, or should I just bite on the single-disc, at the $9.99 price? I would appreciate your opinion.

what pisses me off is the BestBuy.com doesn't have a seperate page for the regular 2-disc version.meaning, if you order the LTD set, you will either get the regular 2-disc special edition OR the LTD set,depends on your luck.

as i mentioned in the other thread, i ordered their exclusive Look Up In The Sky TWICE online and i got the regular version instead.

I haven't heard of a 2 DVD Special Edition but it wouldn't surprise me if they pulled it out of the hat at the last moment before the Wolverine movie opens.

It seems to me that Fox did something similar with Daredevil when nothing but the theatrical version was around and then ooh-la-la!: Surprise! We've got a Director's Cut for you.

As for me, I'm very happy with the current version of X3 although in my opinion the picture was a little soft (thereby making it just shy of reference quality). The audio if I recall was solid.

If you're a comics fan (like me ) I would add this to your collection at this great price. I know that I couldn't wait and got it at release day discount price (which still was several $ more than what's going for here). If a better version comes out later, you still could sell this for $5 -$7 bucks meaning that
you got a great deal and lost almost nothing in the process while essentially "renting" the DVD until a superior version comes along.


BTW, did you get the Madonna Confessions Tour CD/DVD at Target? I got it but haven't had the time to give either disc a spin. (New DVDs are on hold until I finish 24: Season 5 (which I give a big ) I don't even think I saw the set at the Best Buy next door to my Target.
