Got it for $8.99 (member's price). Paired it with the Gone with the Wind CE @ 40% off plus the 25% member's discount coupon yielding a price for the latter of $15.58. Total for both of $26.29 plus 263 mypoints for going thru their portal!
THANK YOU!

I ordered this two weeks ago during the initial posting of the deal, received an out-of-stock e-mail, then another several days later, and finally a 30-day extension request from B&N a couple of days ago. Starting to wonder what's going on, particularly as people are still able to place their own orders for it now and then...

Mr. Cinema, I agree....I had never heard of this movie before, but now after seeing the set and reading about the movie I am itching to see it.
I am just going to buy it full price also, tired of waiting.

Mine arrived today -- UPS delivers on President's Day -- in perfect condition with no floaters. However, the makers of this deluxe eiditon DVD (paired with the postcard extras that are enclosed to make this a limited Collector's Edition) have put the 2nd and 3rd disc facing one another in the case, so there is the possibility that they could scratch each other in transit, or at any time in the future.

Damn. I got my Cinema Paradiso set a few weeks ago, and finally got around to watching it today. The director's cut DVD has some major scratches and skips at the end of Chapter 2. The theatrical cut plays fine, but I'd like to see the longer version, and BN.com is out of stock on the LE set. I don't want to return it unless I can exchange it for the same set. Any suggestions on how to handle this?

I got my set a bit ago and one of my discs was slightly scratched, but not too badly. I emailed customer service about some options and they said I could send it back or they could give me 10% back. I chose the 10%, so it knocked my price paid to about $11 and some change.
All those of you who got minorly scratched discs should definitely consider emailing B&N about it!

They'll refund my original purchase price when they receive the returned item. I'm very pleased with their customer service. I can't remember the last time I said that.
