Good deal for those who missed out on Best Buy and don't have a membership to Costco. Some Costcos are running out of some seasons and some stores don't have any at all. I was lucky to find them all at one of my local stores at $19.99 each (after $10 coupon from mailer).

Or for those millions of people, like myself, who don't live anywhere near a Best Buy, Costco, etc.

To bad Best Buy doesn't have a website where you can buy things and have them shipped...

Oh, wait...

I must admit I'm not very familiar with Bestbuy.com. If Best Buy is running an advertised special that's good in the stores, does that always mean you can get it for the same price online?

Yes but you pay shipping, which I think is $1.49 or maybe $1.79 per dvd

Everyone should go price match it at CC for the 100% Price Match + 10% the difference...Which in the end would make it cheaper than $100. Worth a try, esp since they picture them as individual sets CC would have to PM. Too bad I own them all already or I would do that...

My understanding is BB and CC do not price match one day sales...
Not even sure they would PM a web site..

Circuit City will PM their own website.

I was looking at a DVD player and printed out the info from their website to make sure I got the right one when I got to the store. It was $5 more in-store. I showed the salesperson the printout, and he said to just show them that when I checked out.

If he doesn't have a BB in his area, he might not have to pay sales tax (if any) for online orders.

CC will PM BestBuy.com. I just did it on Stargate Atlantis Season 1 about a week ago. It was 19.99 at BB and had CC PM so my final was 16.99 + tax. The problem is that CC expects you to buy it online at their regular price and then call back and have then do a request for PM. Its a major hassle and I had to go through 3 people to get it done. All I got was excuses why they couldn't but in the end they did.

Edit: Of course I finally get my money back for the price match and they calculated wrong somehow and gave me $1.50 less than they were supposed to. You also get the shaft on taxes as you pay taxes on the non-price matched amount and don't get that refunded. I will never PM CC online again.

Next week they will all be $17.99 each at Target and if you buy the DVD with the first 2 episodes of this season (was $8.99 at my local BJs) you'll get a $10 off coupon on any season of 24.

No one seems to know for sure, but some people are saying when Target prices one season cheap like this they do it for all the seasons, so maybe all will be 17.99...We can only hope! I know I will at least get season 1 for 17.99 plus the $10 off coupon that came with Season 6 first 4 episodes equals a full set for 7.99, that is a steal...

It ain't that great a deal when you remember that you paid $8 for the first disc of S6 - at that rate it is $48 for S6. Even if you wait for a S6 box to come out a year from now and then go on sale for $18 like this, you will have still paid $26 for S6 and bought the 1st disc twice.

Or if you average them all together, that's $34 for S5 and a potential S6. Which ain't bad, but only $1 less per season than the Target price of $18/season with no shenanigans.
