Free DVD at Best Buy with TaxCut purchase
Buy TaxCut software for $29.99 or up this week at Best Buy and get your choice of any DVD worth $19.99 or less.
I know this is in the Best Buy thread but I don't think many will read carefully enough to see this.

On the BB website, I put the the Taxcut Federal for 19.99 in my cart and it gave the offer for the free dvd. Now that's a steal! Thanks OP!

I just bought the $19.99 software as well and got a $25.99 DVD for $5.99 then applied a $5.00 Reward Zone Cert DVD was 99 Cents. Ordered online and picked it up at the B&M. Great Deal !!!

DVD Talk God
I picked up the God's and Generals/Gettysberg flipper disc with this deal. Taxcut also sent me a coupon prior to knowing about this deal for a $10 rebate on the new software, since I used them last year. So, $19.99 (after rebate) for the Taxcut software which I need anyways and a free movie (actually 2 movies) Not a bad deal at all.

DVD Talk Special Edition
Can someone explain to me the difference between buying Tax Cut and TurboTax software vs. just doing Tax Cut or TurboTax online? I use TurboTax online every year and they charge me the fee of like $20. If that online fee gets waived when you buy the software, I will probably just go with the software and get the free DVD.

DVD Talk Hero
I took advantage of the Taxcut Fed/State version, but it wouldn't give me the discounted price on a HD DVD, so I settled for Cars, which I hadn't yet picked up yet, but meant to do so eventually.

Care to elaborate?
The interface was clunky. I felt that the TurboTax interview process was much smoother and intuitive. With Tax Cut, I kept feeling like the program was forgetting to ask something. Perhaps just my feelings, but hey. I'm not terribly worried about spending a few dollars more on a program I feel more comfortable with, especially when its cost is deductible anyway.
