That's why I'm fine with just renting it someday when I really want to see it.

So you will get some email and regular mail asking for donations from about 5,000,000,000 organizations, Its a FREE DVD! (that you will never watch)

Doesn't that kind of defeat the purpose of this particular movie?

I think that's overly cynical. They actually wanted to give the DVD out free to schools directly but were blocked by the oil lobby. This is their Plan B.

The first link has nothing to do with whether you're a teacher or not. They're giving away free DVDs to anyone who cares to sign up. It's only the 2nd link that "requires" you to be a teacher.
