I got the box set today, but there's a large gash along the bottom front edge of the slipcase. I'm going to try to get it replaced.

Anyone's set rattle? Mine arrived today & I'm afraid to open it. It sounds like there is a loose disc, but I'm wondering if it might just be the 3d glasses...

It's not like loose discs immediately mean the death of the discs...

Got my Harold Lloyd box set from Walmart today. Inside the box was a Best Buy EXCLUSIVE!!! The Harold Lloyd comedy theater bonus cd. Two orignal radio shows, bot meets girl and june moon.

Anyone else have this in the box?

Can i just take it into a regular walmart with the "unbelievable " pakcing slip and have them do the exchange there ? is it that easy ?

My guess is that you will have a hard time finding a local Wal-Mart that actually carries the set in-store. Seems like more an online-only item to me (as do most of the sets that were part of $25 sale).

I guess if the Walmart B&M store has it, they should replace it according to to the packing sheet I got on returns. I dont remember seeing it at my local stores though.

I ended up opening my rattling set. As expected, the bonus disc was loose, but I lucked out. It was in perfect shape with no scratches or even the usual scuff marks.

Mine arrived without the extra disk.

My set is MIA so I called and they're shipping out a replacement set. Shows as in stock online but at a much higher price.

So you just called and they are shipping out replacements even though you only paid 25.00 did they ask about that ?

I had emailed Walmart about getting a replacement for the set I received that was damaged, and didn't have any problems getting a mailing label. In fact, I didn't even have to email them as it turns out, because you can print out a mailing label directly from the website.

It gets a bit confusing because there aren't any options to select whether to get credit or a replacement. So, I emailed them again stating that I want a replacement, and not credit, and they replied saying they noted that on my account.

Just to be sure, I included a note in the package I sent back to them. Personally, I doubt the customer service reps even know that $25 for the Harold Lloyd DVD set is an oddity, so I wouldn't worry.

I checked my e-mail and I noticed this from Walmart:

So I called and spoke to another CSR who said that the generic response does not mean there will be any charge. She checked my re-order and said there is NO charge whatsoever applied for the replacement; but was she surprised at the price difference! The first CSR made no mention of it.

hmm I think i will keep my stuff then just in case ;(

the scratches aren't that bad ... I will play them today and verify ... then think about calling them.

Some stores (I forget which) do screw you over when sending something back for a replacement. They actually credit your original order, then re-order the item at the current price. Then you have to fight to get a price adjustment. It is TERRIBLE customer service, but it's happened to me at 3 different online stores. I know CH is one of them, but it isn't typical for them since on 2 other occasions then sent me a replacement without even wanting the original item back...

I just received mine yesterday, both sets in good shape, no rattlers, etc. This was the first time I'd ever ordered anything from WalMart.com...I was expecting the worst based on my experiences in their B&M stores (all uniformly bad experiences!), but I was pleasantly surprised. So this may be a good way to take advantage of their prices, without having to endure their stores.

I still haven't received my order yet. Am I the only one that still is waiting? From what I can tell from the tracking information it hasn't made any progress since January 12.

I doubt my local post office has it since most packages I receive route through the Bell, CA post office first. So far it appears it hasn't made it to that destination. I'll give it one more day and contact Walmart to see what they say about it.

My MIA set appeared in the mail today so I called and cancelled the pending replacement set. The last I checked my shipping/tracking info online, my package was hung up in Atlanta for several days en route to a NYC delivery. Give it 1 or 2 days more and it should be there.

I ordered the Jeeves & Wooster complete set and it is MIA and Walmart.com now says that they do not carry that item anymore. So I'm stuck with a refund (better be a full one), not that that's a bad thing per see but I did want the set. My "tracking," and I use the term loosely, said that it was in Dallas (about 2.5 hours from me) since 1/9 but the delivery confirmation says something about Oklahoma (electronic shipping info rec'd - useless perhaps). Sigh. My coworker got hers last week and she said that the packaging (the shipping box not the DVD) was nearly destroyed in transit.

This does not bode well to me since I had a defensive driving certificate lost in Dallas that was mailed on the 26th. If they cant handle a letter I cant imagine that they can handle a package. Ironically, in the trip from Austin to Dallas it actually passed by where I live. Sigh, again.

What makes me mad is why they shipped it this way in the first place. Using UPS as a middle man. Strange. Must save them some money somehow, but it sure didnt get my package to me.

I finally received my order today. Haven't had a chance to check it yet for any problems. Also out of curiosity I checked the tracking information and it still doesn't look like USPS has updated any of the information since January 12.

Never got my Jeeves set and just got the refund. Sucks, cause I wanted it and it wasnt for Ebay, etc. I dont know why they'd continue to use that delivery option, it sucks bigtime.

They canceled my jeeves and wooster too. They actually cancelled my Cadfael too last week and now it says in stock on their site.
