Some decent $5 titles here (if you're looking for inexpensive gifts or some older fare you may have missed). Hitch is a good, solid romantic comedy. The Missing is a decent recent western. Also, Big Fish is a literate, fanciful comedy (same sort of slightly absurd mood as O Brother).

DDD and their sales! going to pass on this one though i believe.
not to mention, some of those titles, hitch and big fish for example are 4.99 at BB this week.

the sale end son 12/30/06
However, I came to place an order and notice that they have raised the prices on a lot of the titles. Big Fish is now $14 and Rent is also $14. How come, the sale is suppose to be still on??

I am really still very pissed off at them for ending the sale earlier then they had posted. They said the sale would end 12/30 and judging by their past sales, that means the sale should go through the whole of 12/30. I was really surprised to find out the sale ended on 12/30 when I went to placed an order. The action was really erratic on their part.
