PS3 owners - Bluray blu-ray movies as low as $6 each AR/GCO at Buy.com
Credit to 'poohead' on FW... anyways, here's his post verbatim:
First of all, please don't post if you're an HD-DVD fan looking to bash Blu-ray. This post is aimed at Playstation 3 owners looking for Blu-ray movies, not for debating video formats. (I hope this isn't a repost, searched but found nothing.)
Now hopefully you didn't throw away all your packaging when you purchased your PS3. Inside the box is a set of rebate coupons valid for up to 7 Bluray movies, each giving $10 back on certain purchases. More info about this rebate can be found here: http://www.blu-raymovierebate.com/ps_movies.html. There is a limited selection on movies, with a limit of 1 rebate per studio.
Thanks to the excellent GCO deals at Buy.com, we can take advantage of the $20/$50 and the $10/$30 deals. Just create a combination of two movies from different studios that add up to just over $50.
Example: Mission Impossible 3 + Terminator 2
$31.14 + $20.84 = $51.98 - $10 Paramount rebate - $10 Lionsgate rebate - $20 GCO - FatCash = $11.46 / 2 = $5.73 shipped per movie (+tax where appropriate)
Organized by studio and Buy.com pricing for your convenience:
Buena Vista
Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back $20.84
Gone in 60 Seconds $28.02
Enemy of the State $31.18
20th Century Fox
Transporter $31.14
X3-Last Stand $31.19
Speed $31.14
Lionsgate
Terminator 2-Judgment Day $20.84
Descent $30.10
Crash $29.06
Paramount
Nacho Libre (not listed)
Mission Impossible III $31.14
Lara Croft-Tomb Raider $20.84
Sony Pictures
Underworld $28.33
Talladega Nights-Ballad of Ricky Bobby $27.29
Click $29.06
WB
Full Metal Jacket $20.84
Superman Returns $28.02
Goodfellas $30.89
Walt Disney
Glory Road $28.02
Invincible $29.99
Chicken Little (not listed)

On the other topic, I have no problem plopping out a UPC for 10 bucks a pop for these titles. Maybe if the titles had some special packaging, but all of the titles are easily worth chopping out a UPC for 10 bucks. (IMO)
I'm in for a couple.

Hi All,
Quick note on this one. If you have some capacity left on an Amazon Wish Cert from AMEX, you may wish to pick these up at Amazon instead. The 25% off, starting with lower prices to begin with, often leaves you in the same ballpark as using the $20 off $50 from Buy.com. Not to mention, there is a promotion currently running to get 10% off three blu-ray disks if you buy them on the same order, which also qualifies you to continue to get 10% off any HD movies for the next 12 months! Here's my order, so you can see the comparison.
Enemy of the State
Underworld Evolution
X-men 3 The Last Stand
Subtotal of Items: $76.86
Shipping & Handling: $4.96
Super Saver Discount: -$4.96
Promotion Applied: -$7.69
Promotion Applied: -$20.46
------
Total for this Order: $48.71
-$30 rebates is ~$19, or just over $6 per disk. As you can see, works out to be the same ballpark BUT it qualifies you for the 10% off for the next year.
PS for more info look here:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/help/custom...deId=160066011
If you are purchasing an HDTV, or an HD DVD or Blu-ray disc player, your claim code is: HIGHDEF1
If you are purchasing three HD DVDs and/or three Blu-ray disc DVDs, your claim code is: HDDISC10

I bit for "The Descent" & "Tomb Raider". I almost just got the 2-layer "Descent" by itself, but the marginal extra cost for the single-layer TR1 clinched it for me. Thanks, OP.

I already sent my 3 back for a $30 savings.
