what's the deal with the x-files complete seasons, giant box set? is it going to happen? if not then i should buy these?

and one more question: did they ever fix the issue of some seasons having an episode on the seventh disc that is not in these six disc sets?

Better call customer service and ask them for a price adjustment like I did today. I purchased Mary Tyler Moore season 4 and Bob Newhart season 3 during the 20% off sale. I called DDD this morning and they agreed to adjust the price of those items to reflect the new buy one and get one free sale. Very happy they did that since it saves me from returning items and having to purchase them again.

Great sale with a lot of things that were on my wish list that I didn't luckily buy during the 20% sale. Besides the above price adjustment I did 4 other orders.

I didn't think there were any episodes on the 7th discs, I don't think there are any issues. Can anyone confirm this?

Thanks for the info Alex-W. I think I might have to hold off for now, I don't like slim cases anyway. I might actually like them better than the big digipak though

What are the pros and cons of Buffy "thin packs" and "fat packs"?

Are the thin packs popular with some because they take up less shelf space?

Are the discs themselves identical?

btw, if you are debating between purchasing all the thin-pack Buffy's at DDD or getting the Chosen Collection at buy.com, the Chosen Collection comes with one additional disc that you can't get any other way.

People in the last DDD 20% off stated it is the Widescreen version that DDD is shipping and that the ad is a misprint. I was one who almost bought the Rocky Anthology earlier as the price with 20% off would have been only $27.54. This new deal is crazy good!

Probably because season 2 of Boston Legal just came out. And yes, Wonderfalls is worth it, it's a great show that was cancelled much too soon.

Is this deal (Stargate) a better deal than the sale they had at Frys.com for the the complete series of Stargate #1-9?

I guess I can round out the Roswell sets with this deal. ~ $15 for 2 and 3 seems about right.

No, this is worse. It's also worse than their sale last year (the were priced at like 32 during a b1g1)

That said, it is still a very good price.
