Actually, I had read a review saying how much the extended edition of KoH improved the film - and Gladiator is one of my favorite films, so I can't get enough of it.

okay, i found some fillers...

http://www.buy.com/retail/product.as...747&adid=17662
This is $29.38 with a $22 rebate... if you pair it with a DVD set that's $21, you get full $10 off and then about another $3

http://www.buy.com/retail/product.as...111&adid=17662

This is $34.91 with a $24 rebate. Pair it with a $16 item, and get the full $10 off and then about $3 more in profit

http://www.buy.com/prod/Adaptec_USB2...202527270.html

This one is $40.54 with a $30 rebate. Pair it with a $10 item, and you're getting that item for free

http://www.buy.com/prod/Adaptec_USB2...202527127.html

Same as above one

http://www.buy.com/prod/Adaptec_Fire.../10311167.html

Make $4 on this one after rebate (no other purchase advised)

Actually, just search the word Adaptec, and you'll find an item that fits your needs

The Adaptec rebates are one per household (so only one of the above will work)

Buy.com does not give Budget or Standard shipping to Hawaii so there will never be a deal to be found there for us.

They've raised the price slightly to $37.64 after GC but I had to get it for just the 2 disc sets of Stagecoach and The Searchers. It's like getting the other 6 movies for free and there are some gems in that box (i.e. The 3 Godfathers).

More fillers:

http://www.buy.com/retail/product.as...173427&loc=105
Pretty much FAR (no upgrader rebate)... add a $22 product and you're barely paying anything at all

http://www.buy.com/prod/McAfee_Inter...202987885.html

$81-80 rebates (requires an upgrader rebate)

http://www.buy.com/prod/CA_AntiVirus...203165969.html

$40.39 - $40 rebate (requires upgrader rebate)

If you get both of the above fillers, you should qualify for all rebates...

Would it kill people who post links to describe what the link points to? It's a pain to have to click on each one. Thanks.

i agree if it's an item of interest... however, these items are only there for the purpose of adding money to the order... example, a $30 item which gives you $20 or more in rebates is essentially free (actually potentially better than free)... the whole idea is just knowing the price so you can pair it with an item you actually want.... and well, if you don't like my work with the fillers, stop being a lazy ass and find your own...

That's $15 for Prison Break and much better than the BB's Black Friday sale.

Man, Buy.com really is trying to kill some competition. Free shipping and GCO are beating Black Friday prices. I'm like crossing out things on my BF list, meaning less time in the cold and smaller chances of a stampede trampling me! Thank you buy.com, for emptying my wallet!!!

From the Earth to the Moon jumped slightly, but still a great deal at $32.66 after the discount. In for one.

What's the deal with their free shipping? I can't get anything to give it to me anymore.

Preorders or stuff they promote as on sale do not have free shipping . For example Prison Break and My Name is Earl mentioned above are reduced from their normal price and do not have free shipping .
On the other hand the King Kong Gift set which was $55xx when the $20 google rebate started was not promoted as "on sale" at the time and did have free shipping. They raised the price to $70xx presumably because of the $20 google rebate.

Yet, both of those items clearly say "Qualifies for Free Shipping" and "Free Shipping on orders over $25"

If you search for "Prison Break", the popup summary shows it as having free shipping. If you go directly to the item's page, it doesn't show that.

Thanks OP!!! Didn't buy any DVDs but I did purchase the Absolute Sandman Vol 1 HC book for $46.89 after discount (with CA sales tax) which is about $20 cheaper than any other retailer. Thanks again...

EXACTLY! I tried to talk to customer service to ask about that. Of course, I was hit with elevator music for like 10 min. I called sales service and was instantly answered by a rep, only to transfer me back to customer service and listen to more elevator music. Friggin elevator music...

Sopranos S6 should be ~ $40 with this deal but according to their site it is "currently unavailable". Sure it is. Scumbags.

For those that haven't gone for the new Brazil (CC) 3 Disc ... here's a pretty good deal.

43.68 (Buy.com just reduced their Brazil price)

6.48 add one of their 6.48 titles that interest you

50.16 Total

20.00 minus Google Checkout

30.16 Delivered! For Brazil 3 Disc set and (for me) Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil (anamorphic widescreen)

Again, this is only a decent deal if you really want one of the 6.48 titles otherwise, you're better off going with DVDplanet's 38.97 price and using 10 dollars off with Google checkout (net 28.97) which will still save significantly over DDD 20 percent off price of 33.51.

Ditto

Looks like they're taking a page from DDD.
