The Justice League 3-pack is 3 DVDs of random episodes from Justice League in a slipcase.
Justice League Unlimited - Season 1 is the first season of JLU, which is really a follow-up to the 2-season Justice League.

Circuit City lists the Free Willy triple feature as 2 discs. They very well may be WS.

I was initially excited by these until they showed up at my local Walmart and I got to look at the specs. Seems that some titles that had WS/FS releases, it's the FS version that makes it onto the disc. Luckily some retain SE features, but most dont.

Take Free Willy for example. Free Willy 1=Widescreen, Free Willy 2=Widescreen, Free Willy 3=fullscreen. SE stuff=Jackson music video and featurette (from FW1 I think).

Thanks for the clarification. Perhaps Free Willy 3 was direct-to-video. Anyone recall a theatrical release?

EDIT: It was theatrically released at 1.85:1 but the DVD is in P/S (FS). Info. from the IMDB.

Hmm. I'd love to pick up the Looney Tunes Golden Collection sets, but DDD has them for $47 and change, which even with the 20% off is still way more than Amazon's sale price ($32.xx). During the last DDD sale, I remember Amazon had the Alien Quadrilogy for about $39, and DDD matched the price during the sale and then gave the additional 20% off. I'm probably going to wait a bit and see if they drop the price on those sets.

KISS KISS BANG BANG $ 16.65 1 $ 16.65
Unless this is the HD or BluRay version, that's not a very good price. DVD Price Search shows it as $14.17 at DVD Pacific with shipping, and it's been on sale for $9.99 and 2/$20 at Circuit City and Best Buy in the past month.

Hopefully CITY OF MEN will be fixed soon by someone monitoring this thread.

Also, anyone that was looking for TCM 2 -- they are using the cover art for the original version on the new SE as well.

Alright, has anyone NOT GOTTEN AN EMAIL???

Its been 24 hours, I did my order by phone, got a order #, total, everything. Just NO follow up email with the status or stock listing. It was my first phone order so I hope it went ok. They priced matched amazon for me so I hope theyre not second guessing it cause it hasnt even shown up on the website!

It was a nice call too. Girl was nice and I didnt have to deal with a frusturating foreigner! That whole language barrier thing...

That means the studio has set a new lower MSRP effective on a specific date in the near future. DDD will ship that title at that price only on or about that date.

I've placed two orders - one Thurs night and one Fri morning and have yet to receive any emails. Both orders show up online and are listed as "open" with the DVDs as "in process."

do not buy the nba dvds from DDD. i repeat do not buy them. they are supposedly "on sale" right now. for example knicks dynasty was for $25 on sale two days ago. once 20% started, they hiked it to $35. it still shows "on sale".

I've participated in countless DDD sales over the years, but I'm not thrilled with their performance this time:

1. No email confirmations for any orders. I've never had this happen before.

2. They raised the price on ALL HD-DVD titles across the board once the sale started (I had them on my wish list prior to the sale starting). I cancelled several I had on order from Amazon once the sale started, only to see DDD raise their prices. Given the Amazon 10% discount, these DDD prices are no bargain whatsoever (especially since I have to pay IL tax). I should have just left them on order with Amazon.

Very disappointed in the way DDD is doing business this time around.

In many cases, their sale isn't.

Ok, perhaps I should clarify: Of the 12 HD-DVD titles I had on my wish list, all 12 were raised in price after the sale started. Better?

They raised the price on the Sex and the City: Complete Series from $199 to $215. I hate it when they pull this illegal crap during their 20% off sale. Does anybody else know what else they have illegally raised the price of?

I wanted to buy the complete Twilight Zone and Curb Your Enthusiasm, but I'm holding off on purchasing from these scum bags until I know they didn't illegally modify the prices.

The current price for Curb is $149 and $345 for Twilight. Anyone here know if these are these the normal prices or have they been modified?
