Part of the problem is that I suspect they are trying to offset some of the Blu-ray production costs onto the regular DVD release.
The Blu-Ray version also comes out that day if I recall correctly.
The next title that this could happen to is The Descent and possibly PULSE.

Thanks my friend.

Confirmed: $6.99 Halloween 4 & 5 Divimax Ed., Hills Have Eyes 2-Disc Ed. and more
I visited a BB store before they closed on Saturday night, I saw they arranging Sunday's horror movie sale. I can confirmed the following:
Halloween 4 & 5 Divimax Ed. (also confirmed online)
Halloween (non-SE)
Hills Have Eyes (original) 2-Disc Ed. (B&M only)
Night of the Living Dead (30th Anni. Ed. with a new cover)
Day of the Dead (Divimax Single-Dise Ed.)
Saw SE Uncut (the one with the blood case is very rare, so good luck finding one)
I grabbed the last copy of SAW SE Uncut Ed. (blood case) and will do price adjustment later. Most of you will probably only get SAW SE with a regular case (ver. 2, same UPC and SKU though).
Also reporting another deal I have just discovered at BB online:
Buy any portable DVD player, get two of selected horror DVDs FREE.
Linky
The most valuable choice is to get 2 copies of Dawn of the Dead 4-disc Ultimate Ed. FREE, or Dawn of the Dead UE + Halloween SE 2-disc Ed. FREE, if you are in need of a portable DVD player. (install it in your car maybe?)
