u sure they are ten dollars. I'm at country club right now where they have a ton of stuff I want and when I brought them up they were ringing up for seventeen or twenty dollars still
I guess ill go check broadway now. they have like a hundred left here too which really sucks cause I could get about thirty of these if they really were ten each

My local Tower is at 50% off for DVD's, including HD. Also, just as I was shopping in the store today, they marked the Chili Peppers Stadium Arcadium Limited Edition set down to $10 ($57 retail). I snapped one up.

Rockville, MD Tower has $7.99 for all HD-DVDs and Blu-Ray. I picked up The Terminator, Hitch, Species, Rumor Has It, Underworld Evolution, and The Punisher and Blu-Ray, and The Atl on HD-DVD. That's every movie they had, allthough I got the last Rumor Has It and Terminator.

At the Atlanta Tower:
The HD and Blu Ray are just 50% which is about $15.00.
Everything has been pretty well picked through, but there are a couple of good ones left. I can't imagine there will be for much longer though. The section with the largest selection is the adult movies which take up an entire row.
Novelty items 50%
Books are 60% off
Used items 60% off
Magazines 90% off
Used CDs are $1.00
All rap CDs are $1.50.
All UMDs $7.50
They also had pretty good prices on their fixtures, such as a large dvd display for $75.
I picked up 9 CDs and 2 LDs for $16.00, so you can find deals if you search, but the DVDs aren't ready for me yet.
The last day is the 21st according to the cashier.

I'm going to try to hit the Alexandria/Duke Street location one last time tomorrow to see if anything fell through the cracks. I went there Sat. night and didn't have the patience to wade through the vultures, I mean crowds.

70% off at the Tower San Diego Sports Arena. Very slim pickings though. Some of it is even MORE than 70% off. Got the new Soul Asylum for $0.60!!! (wasn't marked that low... just rang up that way)

I just went by the Tower at Tyson's Corner, my first stop at Tower in about eight months. I was desperate to grab the Birthday Massacre's CD, since Tower would have been the *only* place to carry it. Unforunately, they didn't have it... This was really the first time in several months I was in search of an obscure CD, and it reminds me just how much I'm going to miss that damn store. There's nothing to replace it, such a loss, especially since they've apparently lowered their prices big time. Everything used to be $18.99+, and now it's actually normal at $12.99+.
Their DVD's were pretty wiped out though. Basically really obscure shit, with a bundle of new z-movie releases like Stay Alive, Final Destination 3 and Napoleon Dynamite (They had some limited tin thing or something for $25, about 40 of them.) Only DVD they had that was actually a good deal was a Tartan Asia Extreme DVD, Prayer, for 50% off $22.99. All DVD's still only 50% off.
But I did grab a ton of CDs... $70 worth, about 15 normal CDs and ten singles from the UK for $1. If you like some lesser known artists and haven't really been buying CDs the past couple years, all I can say is try Tower. They had almost everything I wanted, and we're talking about $5-7 per CD. Absolute cheapest way I could have purchased everything I got. I couldn't believe they still had Pink's newest CD and Anna Nalick's CD (Both normal and extended...For $2 more, grabbed the extended.) This trip reminded me just how much I'm going to miss Tower after the 22nd.

At the Monterey Park Tower Records on Atlantic Blvd they have a Managers Special: All pop/rock/soundtrack CDs are $5 each.
Rap CDs are $1.
Latino DVDs $5 apiece.
Other DVDs 50% off.
They had a decent selection of CDs left if you like the more obscure stuff.
Don't know if the any other stores are doing the $5 sale.

In Sacramento:
Citrus Heights store had 70% off CDs, 60% off DVDs. Not much left though, I bought a handful of Dance/Electronica CDs
Still 60% CDs, 50% DVD at Watt Ave. though. They have a lot more stock still left.
