Underworld 2-Disc Unrated Extended Edition (and more?) - $8 @ CompUSA
 

Ever since finding Desperate Housewives S1 for $19.99, I have been visiting the local CompUSA to look at their "Manager Specials" for the week. This week I found the 2-Disc UR Extended Edition of Underworld. I bring it up to the register and it rings up correctly at $9.98, but then it also adds a special promotion discount of -$2.00, for a total of $7.98.

I asked the cashier about the promotion discount. He said it was for most of their "old" stock of DVD's. He said you can tell because the price ends in an "8". Didn't have time to check the rest of the DVD's to see which ended in "8", but there are probably some good deals to be had!

i got Ring 2 (unrated, widescreen) for $4. It was marked down to $4.98 then had extra 20% because of "manager's special". They had a few others but not that far marked down.

This was at the Galleria location in Houston.

I'm gonna run by there today, I'll check it out.

you can go to their website compusa.com and locate teh store nearest you and there is a link that will show you all of that stores "manager's special" clearance stuff, and how many are present in the store, to save you some time. For example, the one I was looking for was that Underworld, and the CompUsa nearest me doesn't have it, but the one up by my in laws does, so I'll try and get to that store.

The 20% off appears to be dead or YMMV.
