I received both of my RACS orders - I picked up the Anthology box for a friend but it doesn't appear to have a slash or cut on the spine. Luckily ^_^;

My shipping only worked out to $6 for each order but then I only ordered 3 discs per order. Not great but when they're so dang cheap anyway, hard to pass up! Especially those Tenchi In Tokyo volumes...

I wonder why none of my Geneon DVDs have shipped yet. I know I was one of the very first to order. All on mine say On Order... But that doesn't seem very plausible. Oh well. I'd just like to know that I'm going to be getting each and every one of the ones I ordered without having to worry.

As for TRSI's packaging - they usually do a good job. Only once did I have a floater... And the art boxes have always come in good shape.

Well, on the AOD forums Shawne said they were getting in massive stock, and he expected the discs to be mostly shipped out by the end of this week.

They have easily the best packaging of any online retailer that I've bought from. Just got another box in today which brings me up to 40/75 received, and again everything is in great shape. I ordered my first two orders just when the sale started. My third order was the morning after the "site crash". Nothing has been updated with that order; not that I've expected it to.

6/10 are "On Order" still and I got in VERY early on the 11th, well before the email was sent around and the site crashed. I'm attributing it to choosing the economy shipping, since I know that others with some of the same items that ordered LATER have come in,been shipped, and received while mine are still "On Order". I don't mind really, just so long as I get it...

16/60 reserved, funnily 9 of which are from my 10-DVD order, which I placed 2nd. Akira is holding it up. The rest are from my first order. My 3rd order is still completely 'backordered'.

Ndolger - Out of the DVDs you have received, has any of your orders been completely filled (for example, your first 25-DVD order has been entirely shipped, plus some from the other two), or are you receiving DVDs scattered from across your 3 orders? Also, what shipping did you choose (apologies if you already mentioned). Just curious, thanks!

I haven't ordered a lot from TRSI, but I've had no complaints about the shipping/packaging. And they even sent me out a replacement big case when I emailed to tell them one of the Sailor Moon cases was broken.
How can they even get away with selling these things for four bucks each? I guess Geneon is really clearancing, or something.

They've been mixing my first two orders and shipping them in one box. Counting the third box that just got shipped out today, I'll be 49/50 on my first two orders. The only holdout being Paranoia Agent vol 3. My third order is in complete "On order". I'm sure shipping has nothing to do with delivery time. It normally takes 2-3 days once it gets shipped out until I receive it. I've always chosen free shipping on all orders from TRSI (man that'd be a crap load of money for shippping 75 DVDs...).

For those keeping track of ship dates and stuff, I placed two orders on the 11th (before 11:30AM Pacific) of 25 titles each. Some weird billing stuff held my orders up for a couple of days while I called 'em, but it's sorted and stuff's started shipping. First order of 25 (All of Master Keaton, and Melody of Oblivion, plus volumes 2-end of Sugar and Texhnolyze) shipped complete yesterday, and 24/25 from the second order (Chobits, Last Exile, Jubei 1-3, Paranoia Agent 2,4, and Stellvia 2-6) are showing as reserved and should ship out today, with PA #3 being my lone backorder. Both were placed with free shipping.

I'll probably just sit on this for awhile as most of those (except Texhnolyze vol 5) aren't in any danger of running out. It probably would'nt be so bad if I took Texhnolyze off the list anyway. You just aren't going to find 3-4 vol sets cheaper than $12-$16 shipped, ever. I'm sure things like Trigun, X, Texhnolyze, etc. will be around the same value later on in box sets (I'm in no real hurry to watch all this stuff anyway). I'm just not sure if I can pass up a $16 Lain.

I'm also very interested in those Lupin volumes. I had no idea they contain 5-6 episodes a volume.

Did the people who had partial orders ship not get the free shipping or something? I was told by customer service that my order hasn't shipped because they're waiting on one item.

I got free shipping, but they did end up shipping them in three different sets (7 in the first, 2 in the second, and 1 in the third).
