I personally wouldn't meet another DVD Talker in person unless I was strapped.

Didn't get the e-mail. Did you hit the Livonia location?

Edit: Got your reply, thanks for the help.

Today's Costco had about ten each of Season 1 and 2 but NO season 3.

Bought season 2.

BTW, we had sign and stickers.

Are you sure? I went right past Season 3, cuz it was in just a standard DVD case - not a 3DVD box like the other ones. I got ticked and figured they didn't have any, looked around, and then realized that they were right next to the AD S1+2, but in small, standard DVD cases. I guess it's only a 2DVD set.

I looked everywhere but didn't see them. They had some other show in the box w/season 1 and 2.

I don't think the cashiers ever even look at that.

I'm surprised they let you do that. One time my Mom went there with my Dad's card, and she really had to argue with them to let her use it, even though both of their names were on the check she was using to pay for everything.

No pic on the card, just a name. I also paid in cash because the cardholder said that they might give me crap because the name on my debit card would be different. So I handed over the cash and the cashier didn't seen to care or even pay any attention. She just made a comment about what a good deal the set was.

Had they given me a hard time I was already prepared to give someone a 10 to buy it for me that was checking out. So as soon as I had the set and my change I hightailed it out of there.

$10.46 (including tax) out the door in San Diego. There's still a couple left at the Morena Blvd store, plus tons of Simpsons.

I was driving by the other Costco again today and checked for season 3. They had 1 and 2 out today but it was the same as the other place.

NO season three and the Pretender was also in the box.

Thanks for the post OP! I picked up AD Season 3 for $8.99 plus tax. Great deal! My Costco had a bunch of them, but they were nowhere near the AD S1 and S2 sets.

Costco now has the Simsons season 8 Maggie cases, but it looks like the $10 off deal has ended.

I picked up a Maggie head Simpsons 8 today at Costco, along with a season 7 box. The $10 came off for the box, but not the head. Not sure if I tried to get the head by itself whether it would take $10 off. It was too busy to ask them to take it off and do it separately. Anyone try it by itself?

Regarding Arrested Development, I walked right by the S3 display the first time too - they had just one small box squeezed in somewhere, not next to the S1 and S2 boxes, so if you don;t see it, look again!

Today's Costco did not have any sign about the $10 off. And even nowhere near seasons 1 and 2 did I not find season 3.

Sadly I scoured everything to no avail.

I just got back from a 1 hour drive, had to get my cousin to come so I could use his card, but I got all of them for roughly $36 and some change.

Well, I'd like to thank everyone that believed in me... That was one helluva boring ride, but there is no doubt in my mind that it was worth every second.
