on tHX 1138 the bar code on the cardboard packaging is punched under a sticker with a new upc code. For the price, it was still nice.

MGR, you need to call in management and tell them that your Ross is not living up to corporate reputation .

I hit up the three Ross stores nearest me motivated by this thread.

First stop: Ocean's Twelve for $4.99

Second stop: Million Dollar Baby 3-disc Delxue for $7.99 (they had 4 copies)

Third stop: two copies of THX-1138 at $4.99 each. I figure I can't lose selling one on Ebay. This store also had 3 copies of MDB.

I also saw at all three stores the two-disc foolscreen edition of Terminator 3 for $4.99.

Last year I found a s**t load of 'Presented in IMAX' DVDs for $3 each. Every once in a while they re-appear.
This time around I was able to pick up Million Dollar Baby 3-disc Delxue for $7.99 and Aviator 2 disc $7.99. There were no others. Discover Mills outlet, Georgia.

finally took the plunge and went into my local Ross. thankfully the DVDs were right near the front door. they had one copy of the Aviator for $7.99, one copy fo the new Shining for $5.99, Polanski's Frantic for $4.99, a handful of Marc Harmon movies, and in what must be the crown jewel in any movie affecianato's collection, a boxed set titled the Stacey Keach Collection.

as tempting as a box set of Stacey Keach movies was, I walked out empty handed

My local Ross has been getting tons of Canadian imports -- Broken Flowers, Eternal Sunshine on the Spotless Mind, Sharkboy and Lava Girl, all the Spy Kids and Blade films, Exorcist III. Most of them have the French titles in small print, so they're worth getting.

Stopped tonight at the Exton, PA Ross, was hoping for the Mike Hammer set, but not this time. Did see Bad Boys 2 Superbit for $6.99. Also saw the Incredible Hulk set but passed.

Thanks OP!

I hope I find a 3 disc MDB at my other Ross.

Yesterday I spotted THE FLINTSTONES: SEASON 4 for $7.99 at Ross. I'd already gotten one through the Oldies.com deal, but that's a great price. (Note: No, I didn't notice if it was a punch-out.)
