We really need a fridge. We like the Samsungs and LG's. Sometimes BB offers gift cards with purchase of an appliance. Want to spend less than $1000, but may go up to $1200.

Thanks again.

It's funny to see DVDs like Dazed & Confused Flashback Edition that were recently $3.99 at BBY back to $7.50 (and only if you buy 2). I guess some stores think that people will pass on the $3.99 price but get really excited and head to the stores when the price is raised to $7.50.

Fry's also had all 3 Godfather DVDs (separately), Anchorman, and Breakfast at Tiffany's for $5.99 last Friday through Tuesday. I picked up the first 2 Godfathers for that price (they'll probably announce SEs in a few months), but even though they were sitting on the shelf I passed on Anchorman and Godfather III for $5.99. (I already have Breakfast at Tiffany's.)

Manzana is notoriously pessimistic, so I'm guessing he figures that since he finally picked these up that they'll announce new versions soon. Since that's, you know, "his luck."

Wow. I'm surprised.

Last week's thread ad 8/6/06 - 8/12/06 featured a ton of PC monitors but this weeks' has none that crack the 19" size.

Sorry.........

Speedy,

On the Northern Exposure sets, do you know if it's the individual releases of season 1 and season 2 or is it the combined season 1 & 2 set?

Thanks

It's too bad it's not the combined Season 1 and 2, not only because I would have loved to have the 2 seasons for $19.99 but also because the old individually packed Season 1 and 2 were double-sided, not the single-sided disks found in the new combined set.

Hopefully the combined Season 1 and 2 box will ring up for the sale price as well (how many stores actually still have the old releases in stock anyways?), if so i think i will grab it since i have been thinking of checking out Northern Exposure for a while now.

True, but the new combined set doesn't have all the extras as the orginal individual releases... if you care about that.
