Wow - well, I really had no idea it would get this crazy - and when it hit FatWallet, my jaw hit the ground with how many orders were being placed. Glad some people got the coupon to go through. My wife placed her order the same time I placed mine and she still hasn't received shipping confirmation. Guess we'll see.

This starts to make up for the $$$ those bastards stole in rebate denials. I have never had such a hard time getting rebates. Every single one gets denied, I get a postcard and have to wait on hold for 20 minutes or more, get a cs rep who gets the information and than processes the rebate which I than have to wait 6 more weeks for or follow up again. What about people that dont get the postcards. How much money have they stolen (I literally can count 10 or more times this has happened including those DVD boxsets ie simpsons season 6 that were discounted near the holidays)

The last one I still haven't gotten. Got a postcard with a generic denial about item not being purchased but it doesn't say what item. Just $10 rebate for buying DVD boxsets. Well I have two outstanding rebates both $10 and both for DVD sets and they wouldn't help because I didn't know for sure which one I was calling about !? The card has no information to id which one it is other than the reference number...had to find and pull both rebate copies and than make 2 follow up calls. The last time I called the "computer" was out. I follow the terms exactly each time and do rebates from many other places without problems. What a bunch of crooks. Hope this deal makes them go under with their practices. I stopped ordering from them and also from Coconuts since they are the same company. I was happy though to place 2 orders during this mistake. Call me a hypocrite if you like!

That's hilarious, because the cancellation email for one of mine told me to go ahead and order the DVD again with the coupon working correctly and giving me 10% and not $10. Right....

Wow! Found my PJ Harvey DVD in my mailbox today. Package even included a promo compilation cd with a bunch of bands I've never heard of. A friend of mine placed an order about the same time as me, but is not so lucky. She picked a $9.98 DVD that is still listed as sent to warehouse.

Sounds like we're still tracking each other, Void. Just checked my mailbox and found the 2 that had been shipped. Still waiting for the other 3 to leave the warehouse. Even though I selected Budget Shipping, I noticed from the mailing label that they came First Class. Thank you, FYE :)

This is probably not useful info for anyone else but just in case (though I'm sure you'll be alerted if anyone else had the same issue) but I just received a phone call from my credit card company about a fraud alert. Seems my card number has been used overseas for charges.

I have no idea what the possible source was but given that this card is only used locally for things like groceries and household stuff at typicall retailers and the last time it was used prior was for my FYE order I thought perhaps it was worth passing along just in case. Hadn't been used around that date other than that order. Definitely wasn't lifted via something along the lines of spyware/hacking given my precautions and everything for spyware/virus scan check out (firewall, hosts file, critical updates, etc).

I've had about 30 things ship to me, and today I received 18 of them. The funny thing is that they had each DVD in it's own box, shipped totally separate. Then, in 12 of the packages, they included a free FYE Refreshing Sounds of Summer, a full CD with 11 complete tracks. Here is a small picture of everything that I got today:

My mailman brought all of this up to my door in a huge USPS box. He said that when he saw all of these that he thought he'd have a horrible day taking them everywhere, but then noticed that they were all going to me, so he felt a lot better. :lol:

What are the dvds that look alike?

The Fox Film Noir DVDs that I needed. There are still three or so on the way to me. I think they ended up being $5.xx each.
