20th Century Fox TV price drop

There's a site that lists upcoming price drops and they have some great TV titles coming from 20th Century Fox on August 1. They don't have the new list prices yet but hopefully they'll be good.

Simpsons, Roswell, Millennium, Futurama

Here's the link:

Thanks. I've been waiting this long for Futurama, so I might as well hold out another couple of weeks.

The Fox TV titles are going down from $49.95 Suggested Retail/List Price to $39.95 – Some sites (DDD) have these now at new SRP or on pre-order at the new price.

I'm interested in Millennium Season 3. If it says "prices not yet available" does that mean there's no price drop?

I'm pretty sure the SRP for the Millennium sets was $59.95, and I thought the SRP for the Futurama sets was already $39.95?

So maybe Millennium's new SRP will be $39.95, and Futurama's will be $29.95?

the MSRP will be $39.95 so most stores will have it for $29.95 with the possibility of sales.

Indeed, looks like it's already 24.97 at amazon now that you mention it...

Millennium S2 & S3 prices

They were previously on sale for $15 or $20 last year. I picked all three seasons up for less than $50 at various online retailers.

I expect their new SRP will be the same as Dark Angel i.e. $40 so they should be on sale for $15 - 20 depending on which retailer has the next Fox TV sale.

I second some Millennium for less than 20. I would pick these up in an instant.

Oh wow, thanks for the news. I've been waiting for price drop for Futurama for months now. Now I can finally complete the whole series without taking a major hit in the wallet, not that I mind paying extra because the series is just so awesome.

I remember season 1 of millennium being on sale, but I don't recall season 2 AND 3 both going on sale for $15 or $20. What sale was it? I'm missing season 3 and would like to round it out.

Vol 3 was mis-priced for about a day for $18 during one of the 20% DDD sales. Vol 2 I don't recall dropping below $20, but I could be mistaken - I got mine through the huge Fox Sale, and it turned out to be cheap ($24.xx), as everything was 50% off and you'd get a free box set with $100 spent.

Hopefully Sam's or Costco gets wind of this and starts offering some Millenium and Roswell for cheap!!! I'm all over these series at the first retailer that has them on sale...

Futurama shows $39.95 MSRP on DDD and are selling for $28.57 (v1) and $29.27 (v2-v4) which makes them in the $22-23 range during 20% off sale. Says onv4 it is a price bite, but I don't know if that is associated with this or not.
Anyhow, after getting v1 for $13 and v2 for $20 it is now getting to the pricepoint where I could finally complete the series, but of course there are supposedly a Futurama resurrection in the works.
