Although nothing is coming through except a RED X, I followed the link to the picture.

In essence, your picture matches mine shown above with the exception of no wording across the top.

Welcome to DVDTalk by the way!

Circuit City will have the theatrical version for $13.99 with a free lithograph.

Nowhere in that upcoming ad does it mention a Deluxe Version like Target is offering (and I most certainly will be getting that Target exclusive )

When will you decide to post the Circuit City and Best Buy prices? I think everyone needs to calm down and see those first before deciding to purchase V at Target. Don't get carried away.

So just to clarify

***The 2 DVD will have 1 VOLUME of the comic or the WHOLE Dark Novel?***

If its the whole thing thats a sweet deal and Im all over that. If its just a volume thats shit cause why would I want part of the story? Its all or nothing. And for that price I'll just wait to get the DVD for $15 here locally and get the novel down the line for $5 on ebay. Has there been any clarification on what is going to be offered?

Edit - Well I squinted real hard and it looks like the comic is only a volume. Booo, total rip off.

Sorry Ravenous...... I'm just the reporter.

Maybe the Circuit City ad I'm working on will be more to your liking.

That ad should be ready in the next 30 minutes and BOY IS IT PACKED!!!!!

Total rip off? It's free! Besides, people should already own the comic, so this shouldn't be a problem.

True, but I'm sort of on their side in that I hope it gets people to read the comic!

Okay, maybe I'm missing this, but I want to be clear--is the lenticular cover for the 1-disc version, the 2-disc version, or both?

No need to apologize man, I didnt direct anything at you. Just ranting outloud sorta.

I understand the comic being free, but I dont like that they offer a volume like its a big deal. Its free, so? Now if I want to read everything I gotta buy the other 9 or so. Nahhh. Besides, I just hate how they gotta make 2 discs now and sell them like theyre gold. Remember when 2 discs were the standard releases and barebone 1 discs were the cheap $5 bin crap?

Size is unknown.

What's pictured is a standard sized DVD.

Not really. 2-disc releases have always been more the execption than the rule.

I think what he meant was that there used to be only a 2 disc release (Rent and the first few Harry Potter movies plus Star Wars comes to mind), but now they release 2 discs that rarely can be found for less than $22.99 on release day due to their being a very inferior 1 disc release at the same time.
Peronally I am not conforming to this. As far as possible I've been getting these 2 discers from Columbia House, i.e. V for Vendetta (2 disc), FD 3 (2 disc) and Backbeat CE I got shipped for $27.xx with ther current BOGO and free shipping on 3 or more. Hell of alot better than anything retail can offer.
