These prices also appear to be valid at towerrecords.com. I only checked a few of the titles that were listed, but all of them were $9.99.

Edit: Nevermind. I see the first post has been edited to include this information.

Strange. I didn't get charged tax, so it ended up being about 50 cents cheaper than DDD. :D

Yeah, DVDtalk shouldn't have a bargains section at all since most dvds are $6 at CH and most "bargains" here are higher than $6.

For 5 or 6 years now, someone always has to throw the CH word in most every bargin thread. That is just how it is. They just don't get it.

Check your newspaper today for a Tower coupon good for $5 off any item $14.99 or more. It was a flyer within the paper. I think it said it was off an item $14.99 or more as opposed to a total purchase of more than $14.99. The coupon was only valid 7/14-7/16.

I didn't realize Tower Records was even around or relevant anymore...wow.

This sale is killing me. There are 7 films I want to buy off of this sale, but I swore to myself after spending a lot on the bug 20% off sale in June that I wouldn't buy any more DVD's until October. This is half price on DDD's normal price of $20.57 though, so if I wait I'll be spending twice as much on these, unless of course there is a price drop.

I'm having the same dilemma. With DDD's 20% and the recent $5.99-$7.99 sales at BB and CC, I've already spent more on DVDs through July than I did all of last year. But $53.XX shipped (after the $10 coupon) for six of these great DVDs is gonna be hard to resist.

Mine had Batman for 9.99 but it was sold out.

However, for 4.99 each, I bought 3 copies of Dazed & Confused (flashback ed) -- one for me, two for Christmas gifts
