All I can say is that it should be a crime NOT to own Band of Brothers...best mini-series of all-time IMO

That's a great price. I've been looking to pick this up to give to a friend of mine as a gift.

I already own two copies myself: The U.S. release, plus the limited edition Korean version in the medical pack.

And I'll buy it again the day it's released to HD-DVD, and I don't even own an HD-DVD player.

I wonder if Borders in store has this on sale. There is a nice 30% off coupon waiting to be used...

i was told in a borders that their instore price is usually different (and significantly higher) due to the "overhead" associated with stocking it instore.

in general, i can understand this, but $20 or $30 in overhead always seemed a WEE bit to much for me to understand

DVDs are not the "primary" stock for Borders, hence their being list price instore (not MORE than list price though, simply almost everyone else just NORMALLY carries things below list price).
That's why Barnes and Noble is the same...not the primary there either.

BOB 2

It's going to really be called THE PACIFIC WAR, but who knows what the end title will be.

Cool. Looks like it still quite a ways off though. No actors have been cast yet.
