Time Tunnel Vol 1 and VTTBOTS Vol 1 - Amazon Best Value, Buy Both for $24.98

Amazon seems to be matching the prices BB offered this week on these sets, but you save $5 on both sets with this deal:

Holy shit... that's a fantastic deal on two really entertaining sets.

Retail of $80 for $24.59 shipped (with A9 discount and Amazon Prime). Wow...

Would these be good blind buys? Seems like a great price for the two.

I blind bought them for about the same price - but then again, I love 60s spy series.

I blind bought both for $15 each, watched two episodes of Time Tunnel, skimmed a couple more and gave up. For a show with such a great premise, it was absolutely no fun -- just cardboard characters, wooden acting, humorless dialog, etc. Ironically, it felt as if time stood still as I watched these loooonnnggg episodes.

If you're into that TV style of the 60s or can get past it, you might enjoy it: some of the special effects are impressive, and the cliffhanger endings are cool. A lot of folks who love this show watched it as kids, so I think the nostalgia factor is a big part of its enjoyability today.

I haven't watched any Voyage yet. Hope I like it better.

These aren't complete seasons? I noticed they list them in Volumes such as Season 1, Vol. 1 -- Season 1, Vol. 2. The details has them containing 4 discs.

No, since seasons were longer then (30 episodes for many series), Fox has been splitting the seasons into two releases so they can sell them at a lower price point (than Lost in Space season 1 which is available at Amazon for like $70).

Well, I decided to blind buy the two. It intrigued me enough to spend $25 on the two.

Damn, I get so mad when there's awesome deals on shows that have no appeal to me whatsoever.
