I just tried placing an order from the overstock link. I did not get a discount. I called Overstock (I'd submitted to end), and found out that the coupon is only valid if you have a non media item in order.

Maybe try the paper clips for $0.15.

The 13% overstock coupon worked for me yesterday on Chris Rock Show Seasons 1 & 2 - and that was it. Maybe they changed the terms since yesterday?

A warning to those of you thinking about picking up "The Big O: Complete Collection" at Buyritedvd. It's only the first 13 episodes (series 1). If you want all 26 episodes, you'll also have to get "The Big O II: Complete Collection", which runs around $30-$35.

Well, it was always two seperate series - due to fan demand for more episodes after The Big O aired on Comedy Central, a sequel series was created to follow-up the first - hence, The Big O II. Its not a case of the entire series being split in half to bilk fans out of more $.

Last few hours for the Funimation sale at DDD. Get your orders in while you still can.

If anyone happens to venture out to Best Buy today, please check to see if the new Animerica magazine is available. I would love to know if there's another 30% coupon located inside the magazine.

I was @ Best Buy this morning, but I didn't see the new Animerica magazine. I remember the last issue took them a while to get out, so it's a wait and see!

I was at BB yesterday and will be there today. I didn't see anything yesterday and had an employee look it up in their system to see if it was in or if they had it, but it wasn't even coming up. Only the two old ones.

I got Fumoffu at BB.com when it was $9.99. It's a nice box and a great show, but I would imagine that ADV will be thinpaking this show in the near future[so you may want to hold off].

EDIT: It would appear that BB has dropped the price on certain ADV titles down from $9.99 to $6.99. Other $6.99 titles are-

Madlax Volume 1[not the box version]
Gilgamesh Volume 1[not the box version]
Evangelion Platinum Volumes 4, 6, 7

I'm sure that there are others. Good catch ShinMusashi.

Cool. I was actually looking at Fumoffu vol1 w/box last week at BestBuy.com. I was surprised it was still $9.99 online (I can't find it at any B&M). I decided to pick one up. It also gave me an excuse to use my 4 cents of Best Buy Gamer Gift Cards. =P

I really hate ADV's thinpacks, so that makes it even better. I'm sure Rightstuf or ADV.com will have the other volumes up at some point for cheap, so I can pick them up later on. Thanks for the deal!

Hey, guys. I want to post the new thread, but I've been trying to coordinate with WTK. Unfortunately, it seems we are around at different times... I'm going to wait till the end of today, and if we aren't able to go through with it, then I'll just post the thread as usual. But if so, I probably won't be able to keep up with all that extra stuff this time around. The bargains--Yes. That's why I was hoping I'd be able to post the thread with WTK sniping the third post to keep track of that stuff because I know you guys like it. We'll see. Gotta go to class now.

I have a quick question about Dragon Ball and the DDD Funimation sale. I figured I'd try here before starting a new thread.

clicky

The Dragon Ball seasons were $19.34 or $19.35 during the Funimation sale, and they are still that price after the sale. So...

Was there a price drop?
Were they always this price?
Is this the cheapest price you can get these DVDs for?

Thanks

Gah! It's August already?! Man, time sure flies...

Anyway, looks like Big Lots! has restocked on anime (found a post on CAG). It appears that it's more Bandai closeout items similar to what Dollar General had earlier. I'll post specific titles when I stop by. Just wanted to give everyone a heads up.
