There should be a few coupons and one of the others is good for 10% off regular priced dvd's (non new release)
It probably doesnt hurt to try the coupon on anything though.

That's exactly what I was thinking about using it for! I'm not a rewards member but $1.49 off will cover the sales tax and then some.
Doh! I didn't even see that there was more than one coupon in the file. My bad.

"Markdowns taken from regular prices."
That sort of limits the use of the thing.

Maybe, MAYBE if you got a clerk that knew what was on sale that week, they might MIGHT say something, but these BB people aren't paid enough to think about the company's bottom line and will just let it slide.
*YMMV: This has been my experience, yours may be different.

Of course I understand this is a definite MMV situation, but at least it is something!

Best Buy is worthless. I wanted to use the coupon for a set of in-ear earphones because I accidentally left mine in my pocket after my last gym visit last week, and they got washed. I saw 'mp3 accesories' and thought I could buy headphones. Nope. Headphones would be an 'audio accesory', so I couldn't buy them. I went ahead and bought Napoleon Dynamite for the flyer price of $6.99, and when they rang it up it was $19.99. I told them it was wrong, it was on sale showed the flyer I had in my hand, on the front sheet. She said no it's the right price. I said WTF have you not seen your flyer? and then stated that Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants was wrong price too, as it was one of the ones listed, both by picture and with a stack of 5 copies on one of the carboard displays, for $8.99. She didn't believe NP with the flyer in my hands, and then again told me I was wrong when STP rang up wrong because if they were on sale they would have rang up on-sale. I told her to go get someone to check, which she did, then apologized and said "oh sorry things have been ringing up wrong all day". Then why the hell tell me 'if its on sale it'll ring up on sale'? I just don't get it. I can understand classifying headphones as audio accesory, which was disappointing, but the pricing and checkout chick was wack.
Since I couldn't use the coupon for either DVD, on sale, I wanted to use it for a jack to connect my mp3 player to the front aux input on my car stereo. I was sent from mp3 section to the far car audio corner, who then sent me back to mp3 area again, but before I left I found a 5 foot connection for $30. I didn't need 5 feet of cable just laying in the front of the car, so I left. The idiots in car audio section kept telling me to buy a cable with a standar earphone type jack that split to L/R audio. I kept telling them "I WANT TO PLUG IT INTO THE FRONT OF MY DECK." "ok, let me check" and the guy walks off, then comes back, and tries to tel me yeah, this is the one you'll want, it should work."
The onlyl thing that went smoothly was the refund I got back on my credit card because the card stereo deck I bought 3 weeks ago went on sale at circuit city and I got the difference plus 10%. Went to radio shack and got 1foot jack for $4.99 too. Once BB's reward zone switches over and becomes less of a good deal, I'll use BB and CC's flyers off one another instead of trying to use BB.

Finally got a local BB to accept the 10% properly. I'm guessing that the "overide" they had to do yesterday interferred with the normal processing of it? Or, maybe it was the "newbie/trainee" running the checkout?? That one seems more plausible as I recall seeing a popup similar to the one I saw tonight - I'm guessing he pushed the wrong key & cancelled the discount?
Thanks OP!! Saved me $1.50 * 5 & $.70 * 1 - now I'm tempted to go back for a few more.
