Yeah i'm looking at the order form that came with my first order, and it saids UPS GROUNDTRAC on the bottom.. but when i type the numbers in it saids it ain't a valid UPS Tracking number.. (now i understand why.. when i ordered it, it was back-ordered but it somehow shipped the same day as the first time.. and i was reading off of DDD sales and terms.. "Expedited service will apply only to the first shipment of in stock- items; subsequent backorder or pre-order shipments will be sent via Standard Delivery".. That suxs, i didn't pay extra to get 2 things come in 3-5 days now i have to have to wait 5-10 days for my other stuff (oh well.. i guess i can wait)

WOW. I just got a knock on the door, and it was a DHL man giving me my Buyrite items (which was odd to me since I picked Media Mail as my shipping option). Even "My Account" says nothing about a DHL tracking number or anything. o.O Who am I to complain? I just got the fastest shipping I've ever seen.
Glad to see that the items were also packaged great (about a 1/2 lb of popcorn and quite a large box), and the artboxes are in great shape and still sealed. This is my order for Infinite Ryvius and Geneshaft and first ever with this company; I'm really impressed. Maybe they'll "accidentally" give me 2-3 s-cry-ed boxes when my next order arrives! It sounds like there's a floater in one of my Ryvius DVDs, but that's fine.

(hopefully it will today or i'm gonna call..) because nobody was home at my house yesterday since i was at work and they usually just put the delivery on the steps... (it has me thinking somebody might of came up and took it.. but hopefully it comes today..) and i pulled the trigger on the Inuyasha box that was mentioned

Gah, looks like somebody bought like 40 Love Hina boxsets. WHR and Outlaw Star have dropped significantly as well. I was hoping I could at least have a week or two to scrounge up some money...

My BuyRiteDVD order arrived today. Love Hina Box is the Perfect Collection with the series and all 3 movies. Witch Hunter Robin is the "book" box set. I also got the Infinite Ryvius set, which is a regular box with full-size keepcases.
There was a tiny crack on one of the Love Hina plastic panels. It's not bad enough to send back. But everything else was in excellent condition.

Hey DVDTalkers, more Dollar General finds:
Crest of the Stars 1
Betterman 5
Jubei-Chan 3 and 4
Tsukikage Ran 2
Ronin Warriors 4
Strange note - there is a spirit of wonder and a spirit of wonder vol 1 - both boxes seem to be indentical, but the upcs are different. Not sure if this has any significane at all

Thanks SkyDog for the table update and Dave for the DG update. I may not be able to reply/update as hastily for a few days because I just had all four of my wisdom teeth removed. But keep 'em coming. I'll catch up at least daily.

I always figured dentists are trying to scam people by trying to take out wisdom teeth. I'm not falling for that trick! These are my teeth damit, you can't have them Mr. Dentist!
In any event, good luck with your recovery. Never had any teeth removed, but did have surgery on my jaw once and when the pain killers wore off, it hurt like crap. Hang in there!

I ended up barely missing the S-Cry-Ed deal because while I was waiting for someone to confirm that it was the whole series, I was refreshing the shopping cart page and the number in inventory shown there stays stuck on what was available at the time you put it in the cart instead of changing like it does on the item page itself. They've started putting the UPC on the item pages now, which is a BIG help!
Most of the stuff I wanted (S-Cry-Ed, Geneshaft and now Outlaw Star) went out of stock, so I decided to pull the trigger and order the Love Hina set before that's gone as well. Thanks to TheBigDave for confirming that it's the Perfect Collection.
Your welcome. Thanks for all the work maintaining the thread and best wishes on a speedy return to eating regular food!

It sucks. Eating is probably my favorite thing in the whole, wide world to do, and I can only eat about four or five different things. It makes me sad. Ha ha. It doesn't hurt too much, though. The worst part is the anticipation. I have a feeling it'll start hurting more after tonight, though. But thanks for the words of encouragement, guys.

The thing about wisdom teeth is that they dont really cause you problems until they do, and then it sucks really bad. So, if your dentist sees a potential problem (mine have a gap and food gets down in there, she pulled out like 10 years worth of popcorn husks last cleaning) they advise you to get them taken care of. I'd rather just get it over with.
Let me know what you can eat, so I can stock up...pudding? me likey pudding!

I've had some bad dentists though, real crooks...anyway, are we far enough off topic yet?

Hope you feel better JBM. Wisdom teeth suck and I still have to get mine done. I had a missing tooth from birth and one that was simply knocked out, so my dentist wants me to get braces and to squeeze my Wisdom teeth to the place of those two teeth.
Anyway, for those that still want the Gungrave set, I guess Shawn has gotten some more in as there is 9 left now.

I was doing pretty well yesterday, but today, my gums are a lot more tender. My cheeks/jaw even hurt now. I just can't open my mouth very wide. My only real concern is the possibility of dry sockets, which are apparently more common with girls aged 17-25 (gee, how wonderful that I fall into that category!). Then I'll be miserable. So far, I've been eating jello, sherbert, ice cream, chicken soup, and I'm gonna try some crushed up soft noodles in a bit.
It's not as bad as I thought it would be (so far), which is nice. But it's not exactly fun.
I do think it was wise to get them removed. It's actually the sooner the better, IMO, and you're probably going to need to have them taken out at some point before they do cause any damage. I'm not a big fan of dentists (in fact, I've had some really bad experiences with them), but I feel this is one thing they weren't scamming me on, though christ is it expensive!
Also, I'm sure you could probably eat pudding. Just soft stuff. All I can think about is eating. Ha ha.
Okay, sorry for totally derailing the thread. This pity party is over!
