At the Nashua, NH store, they just had the box full of American Dad with that sign--I think it was good for a few weeks. The signs were all gone for that Family Guy, Arrested Development, $10 off deal--didn't even see those titles in the same area.

I went and bought both FG and American Dad. It took $12 off American Dad, but nothing off FG (not the $10 off for buying both, either).

Good deal, but not a huge fan of the show!

When I was at Costco yesterday, they had plenty of these sets out, but no mention of the sale. I'm not a huge fan of the show, but I may have to pick up a copy for $12.

I was at costco yesterday, and they had a ton American Dad. No signs though, so will it ring up $12? Just want to make sure before I go up. TIA.

Is this show funny? How does it compare to The Family Guy?

Went to Costco. Mine didn't have up a sign for it, but it took the $12.00 off at the register.

Maybe you should look around the many various DVD review websites, read some reviews about the series, and then decide for yourself. "Funny" can mean a lot of things, and what one person finds humorous, another might find embarassingly stupid.

It's the least I could do...after all, you did clue everyone into the IMDB. Just paying my respects. You're like Christopher Columbus. Nobody knew about North America before him, not even the Native Americans who lived here. I envy you.

First of all, there is no show titled "The Family Guy". And secondly, I think I read somewhere that there is something called "The Internet" that has reviews of DVDs and TV shows posted on it.

I bought both AD and FG at Costco last weekend. There was a sign for the $12 discount on AD and it rang up correctly. The FG set had a sticker on it that said $10 off if bought with AD, but it didn't ring up that way. A supervisor manually overrode the price though to deduct the $10 additional discount. Way happy with Costco and I returned copies of both that I had previously paid a lot more for at Best Buy.

Thanks OP. Picked it up for $13.20(ish) - darn tax. Didn't see any Futurama or Family Guy sets near-by.

But, I did see that they had finally put out their copies of the James Dean, Steve McQueen, etc. sets for the Fathers' Day sale.

Thanks OP. I grabbed it (more for the bonus Family Guy disc than anything else). Still, even though I only like about half the episodes, that's a great price.

It was kinda funny rewatching the first episode again and seeing how different the animation looks even though it only premeired on TV a little more than a year ago.

Damn, they weren't at my Costco today. Does that usually mean it's sold out, or that they haven't stocked the "sale allocated" copies yet?

Thanks for the heads-up Kyle. I picked it up and huge-ass bag of peanuts for $19.

You have got to be kidding. Oh my god, I called it The Family Guy instead of just Family Guy.
