I don't believe that the 2 disc version was advertised in BB, CC, or target's ads. That usually means it's not on sale.

I will take a guess and say it'll be anywhere from $24.99 - $29.99. Best Buy shows $28.99. I think Amazon.com is $27.99, which is the lowest price I've seen for it.

Costco could show up with a nice price on this one. They often stock the 2 disc LE sets at nice prices.

No online prices are as cheap as $25 and the 2-discer is absent from the Sunday ad for every major retailer (BB, CC, Target); if their online prices are any confirmation of what the in-store prices will be, then around $28 is as good as it's gonna get...

I'm not sure if you guys want to wait a month considering the supply might be completely gone by then. This is a limited run just like the Jarhead and Cinderella Man 2 disc editions.

You think columbia house will have this? I have an account that is waiting to be fulfilled and I've been holding off for this item.

They didn't have Jarhead or Cinderella Man, so they may not have Munich as well.

Maybe Tower will have this cheapest for like $20, just like they did with the two discers for Walk The Line and Narnia?

That's precisely why I bought the 2 DVD of Jarhead.

I may decide to go the R2/R3 route with this one. I didn't manage to get hold of the Jarhead 2 disc version, but plan to get the German R2 version from CDWow. It's $23.95 with free worldwide shipping and if you upon checkout signup for a free trial to freeshipping.com you get $10 cashback (I already did that on a previous order).
Currently they are not showing the LE of Munich on their site though. Only 1 disc R2 and R3.

Went ahead and ordered the 2disc from DDD for $28. Given that the lowest price for the single seems to be $17, that's only about a $9 diff after tax.

I don't know if this applies to anyone else, but if you have a Barnes and Noble card and a AAA card, you can get it at barnesandnoble.com for about $23.

Just go to www.aaa.com/barnesandnoble ... That gets you the 5% AAA discount and be sure to use your B&N card for the other 5%.

Well, here's another DVD I was planning to buy until now. I was happy to blind buy this (I missed it in theatres) because I saw that Best Buy would have it for 16.99 and figured the extra features would make it a good thing to own.

BUT, they're doing that retarded "tier" system where what used to be the standard two-disc release is now a special limited twice-as-expensive release. They're losing me as a customer, too, because I am not going to buy a bare-bones edition because that's worthless, and I refuse to spend 30 dollars on a 2-disc set. Period. 30 bucks used to be the standard price for 3 or 4 disc sets, but now 2???!!

Only Criterion can get that kind of scratch from me.

$22.99 - sort of

I'm buying it at Amazon, in the same purchase as Towering Inferno and Poseidon Adventure special editions, which refunds $5.00 when bought together. So I'm pretending those two are at their already discounted price and that Munich 2-Disc Limited is $5.00 less - $22.99.

With free shipping and $0.77 A9 discount, a total of $48.20.

I got an advertisement from ShopKo in the mail on Saturday, and they are advertising the two disc at $22.99, which is the best price I've seen for it. Check it out if you have a ShopKo in your area.

I went to Wal-Mart tonight to try and get the 2 disc Munich. The tard stocking the shelves could not get a handle on what I was looking for. He kept trying to give me the one with the Wal-Mart exclusive. I kept saying "no, this is a second disc all in the same package." He'd say "What movie is on the second disc?" I'd say "not another movie... it's bonus material." Then he'd show me the Wal-Mart bonus disc and say "this one has the bonus material." We went in circles like this for some time, but I finally had to walk away before I got any more frustrated (Damn sinus headache was already killing me). I was able to buy the 2 disc Walk the Line there and tried to explain that this was a similar situation. I don't think they are carrying it. I'm ordering from DDD as I fear this one will be very limited and I live in a city with no local Best Buy or CC and I don't care to burn the gas to look for it. It's a blind buy, but if it's as limited as Jarhead, I figure it will be easy enough to unload if I don't like it. I generally like Spielberg films although I found The Terminal to be a cure for insomnia. I got the 2 disc Narnia and War of the Worlds releases used from Amazon Marketplace sellers at good prices. Somehow I don't think this one will be that easy to find later on.
