They're doing it again. If you're a member of their online rental club, you can choose from:
The Grudge
Anacondas: The Hunt for the Blood Orchid
Birth
The Manchurian Candidate (2004)
Wicker Park
Catwoman
Exorcist: The Beginning

Cool, mine's in there. Just printed. I need to go by sometime anyway and use up one of my two free rental coupons. I'm not incredibly interested in any of those movies [maybe I should check out Catwoman], but I am a sucker for "free".
edit: Checking home email, I have an email telling me to go check my account for the coupon.

Nothing for me either. I'm on the 2 at a time plan. Maybe a different membership level is being rewarded since I got the last freebie coupon when I was on the 3 at a time plan...

They might be aiming it at:
* certain membership levels [I'm on the 3-out, 2-in-store-rental plan]
* certain member longevity [I'm since Dec 2004]
* certain geographical areas that have some back stock of these DVDs that aren't moving; maybe it's easier to email coupons based on home address and local store inventory levels than pack and ship the dvds to someplace where they're selling [I'm in NC].

Just got back. One of my local BBs [not my closest, but most convenient to work] had TONS [like 30+] of copies of Grudge, maybe 15 of Anacondas, maybe 12 of Wicker Park, maybe 10 each of Catwoman, Manchurian, and < 10 of Exorcist and Birth.

Please be informed that Previously Viewed DVD (PVD) coupons are only side privileges and are not actually included in the subscription plan. PVD coupons are given to random customers once in a while, and in such cases, may only be redeemed at participating and selected Blockbuster Stores.
At times when, they are being sued by the inventor of online rentals, and have way less subscribers - they would be a little more friendly and consistent.

Same here... in fact it's been awhile since I've received any thing but the regular game/movie rental coupons. I wonder if that's another factor... are those people who retained the 2/mn game/movie not getting the coupon and those who switched to the 4/mn movie only getting them

I didn't get it either, but I got it last time when they had this promotion. Picked up Along Came Polly, watched it, and sold it for $4. It was like getting paid to see that movie.
Even if it is at random, I appreciate it. It is lot better than some other online rentals I've tried.
