Thanks OP!! My wife and I loved that series. I hate Showtime for not bringing it back for a third season.

They had the first season at that price a couple weeks ago. I threw in an order, left the house, came back to post the deal here and found that it was already jacked back up to $37.

For that price, I'll give it a try... Hopefully they'll lower the price on the first season at some point later (I missed it the first time around).

The Columbia House TV Club has season 1 as an enrollment. Check out the DVD Club forum for details if you decide to go that route.

Yea, I went hoping to get this deal since I have only seen the first season. Unfortunately by the time I saw it, it was back up to $36.99. Hopefully it will go back on sale soon.

Don't bother writing Amazon to find out. I made the fundamental mistake of waiting until I got home from work (thinking I would combine with another order and finally try the Amazon Visa deal...wanted to investigate the terms first but didn't have time before leaving for work at 7:15). Should have known better and ordered ASAP after seeing it. Emailed Amazon expressing my disappointment at the short life of the deal and my reason for delaying in ordering Monday morning. Their response was to say that prices fluctuate and they were sorry I missed out (but that they REALLY appreciated my business). Considering the large amount of dollars I have spent on their site and their lackluster explanation, I doubt that my business means anything at all to them. Guess I'll have to wait for the DDD 20% off sale although it will be $9 higher then...or perhaps wait to see if it ever shows up at a pawn shop or garage sale (I've gotten Deadwood, Band of Brothers, Sopranos, etc. for $10-$30, for instance, so anything is possible). The moral is...when you see a good deal, act quickly.

Oh, I was just curious as to why the sale price was on so shortly... I actually did order it (will be here tomorrow).

Did anyone get this cancelled, because i am looking at my account, and the other 2 items I ordered are still there, but the Dead Like Me isn't.

Same here. This was cancelled without notice and the other item is still there with the shipping charge.

I didn't order this, but what's with Amazon and all the misprices / lame canned e-mails lately? They need to get their stuff together.

Got FU e-mail #2 today on this (first was for the Showgirls set). I guess I was a little slow.
