When I ordered mine, I paid $8.97 x 2 for 3 titles, so that's $5.98 each. I think I ordered on the last day (or next to the last day) of the sale, so the $5.99 each and B2G1F time overlap window was probably over by then. Fortunately I only bought 3 titles, so if they ended up being 3 for $11.98, I got screwed $5.99. In comparison that makes this re-hash of the same sale at $5.99 each look weak when they were $3.99 each for a while.
That price difference is still less than a bunch of those Walmart $7.44 Warner 2 packs where I bought them separately at $4.88 each thinking I was getting a good deal only to see them now over a dollar cheaper now. This makes me think of a new saying that could be a tagline: "There's no such thing as a dirt cheap DVD. No matter how cheap it was or how well you think you did, you can count on someone like Walmart selling it for even less soon after."
But I'd still rather have this happen than not. It just means when I see a borderline DVD for $4.88, I might hesitate and wait for $3.72 or $3.44. I guess $3 DVDs are going to become more common on old titles.

That price reduction was for one day only IIRC. I had a bunch on my wishlist and when I read of the price reduction I pulled the trigger. I don't think anyone got price reductions after the fact. I remember some complaining about it. I love a good deal and I usually order near the end of the sales just in case of price drops. I have had to wait for backordered items but have never had any DDD cancelations.

Mine arrived yesterday , which is great because it gave me plenty of breathing room before Easter gets here . The kids should be happy with the Easter Bunny
I imagine they might have made it here with regular shipping but I couldn't take the chance .

My copy of "The Others" hasn't shipped yet :-(. After I ordered it went into backorder.
Oh well, as long as I get it within the next few months. No hurry I guess, the price was right and I haven't been charged yet anyway.

Infernal Affairs 1
It wasn't well known here in the USA, but Infernal Affairs is a very well made HK movie.
Watch it, rent it, buy it - you won't regret it.
BTW - Thanks Pro-B for your recommendations!

Couldn't agree with you more! She's a fabulous dame as it is, and this movie really shows a different side of her acting talent.
Thanks for your recommendations (and the other posters who did likewise)... these kinds of sales make my head spin with way too many titles! All of you helped me narrow my list down to eight titles I really want!

The prices went up to $9.44 as I was placing my order (in the minutes between adding the last item to the cart and going to checkout). So it looks like they ended it early.
I ordered anyway and hopefully they will credit me, since the sale banner is still there.

I was going to try to squeak in a small order of a few old Disney live action movies, but like others said the prices went back up even though the banner is still there and it's still April the 24th in my time zone.
No big deal... if I had really cared about buying anything at $5.99 I would've done so a long time ago. By ending the sale a little early they just helped me make up my mind on those titles I was on the fence about. So many of those Disney movies I love are very poor pan & scan transfers, and I would feel "dirty" rewarding Disney for their shoddy transfers even at $5.99. I've always said Disney has some of the greatest movies in its vault, and the way they treat most of them has always sickened me. When people ask me if I like Disney, my answer is I like the man and the company that was called Walt Disney Productions, but I abhor the current Walt Disney Company.

Their titles are $0.75 more than DDD, but if you can manage over $60 worth of material you can use one of their $5+ coupons.
