Southern California-Aaron's Records-70% Closing Sale

Anyone been there lately-what is the inventory for dvds and cds like?
I want to make the trip there but it is a long haul. Would like to go when it is 80% off or more...thanks for any updates!

It is now 75% off as of Thursday. There are basically NO DVDs left. Just like 20 copies of the Grudge at $28.99 and a few other overpriced titles that no one wants. Literally a couple of dozen titles left only. A lot are titles that are at marked at the original SRP of about $30 but now can be found at Target for $5.99, so even at 75% off, it isn't a particular bargain.

As Ray said...hardly any DVDs left...there were 4 video games when I went in on Thursday...but there's plenty of used and new CDs.

The store is supposed to close at the end of March...and I would suspect it'll be 80% off starting Thursday. I don't know if it's worth driving any distance for...but good luck.

The music selection is REALLY bottom of the barrel. Don't expect to find any major artists or even anything you would hear on alternative or college radio. Just thousands of CDs from artists you likely don't know. They do have thousands of 45's (7" singles) left too. The store is really quite picked clean. Face it, anything anyone wanted, they would have gotten when it was 50% off or whatever. Going from 70% to 75% and eventually more just doesn't make a difference to most people. BTW- according to store clerks, the current projected last day is April 9th.
