Edit to add: I started watching this series through my local video store but then someone ahead of me lost two of the discs so I never could finish it. Hopefully now I will be able to.

just so everyone knows buy.com has a TERRIBLE track record of honoring price mistakes but they generally e-mail you a $5 off coupon via e-mail as an apology. I'm in for one, I'm not expecting to get the dvd at all but since I already have an account on the site it takes two seconds to place an order.

Just for comparison, it says "sent to warehouse" for the Oliver Stone set but when you click on it, it says "on order" which if you click on that, the explaination is that it may or may not come in!

I don't think it's so much an issue of people ordering multiple copies, especially if one is being given out as a gift or to a friend who might like it... Or someone who wants to revisit anime after having decided he/she didn't like it the first time or so. What bothers me is the people who are flat-out saying, "I don't even like anime, but I ordered 2-4 copies." I find that bothersome because I know there are plenty of others on this forum who do enjoy anime.
Anyway, I'm not trying to go on a witch hunt here, and I do feel this forum is a very generous one more often than not.

I ordered one copy along with Hellsing volumes 1, 3 and 4. Hellsing 3 and 4 has shipped, but volume 1 and Tenchi is still listed as "Sent to Warehouse". I don't know if I should be happy that at least two items have been sent out or nervous that Tenchi hasn't. BTW, I am an anime fan.

Dudes, i got an item in the order history that says send to warehouse or on order for more than a year! i believe it was an anime box set from Pioneer. I kept the item on the order, just to see how long it stays that way and viola, more than a year... i finally went ahead and cancell it my self

anyway, i was only kidding about ordering. it started as sarcasm. i don't think anyone in their right mind would order something, let alone multiple somethings they had no interest in simply because it was really, really cheap. actually, i strike that, people do...i don't.

I don't want to piss anybody off, but buy.com is notorious for canceling mispriced items, and on occasion, shipping them and charging the correct price without telling you.. Be careful if it ships.. buy.com is great if you have no problems, but if there's a problem, they suck ass..
