Man, the 2-disc harry potter is a lot more!

Do Movie Gallerys sell two disc sets as PVD B2G2 or do they only sell the one disc.

Thanks for the prices!

Agree, it's a pretty slow week.

Nothing that really screams 'BUY ME!'.

I hope BB has something good for their Harry Potter freebie. These lithographs are pretty worthless.

Well, there's a few things screaming "Buy Me", but not at those prices.

Thanks as always, Speedy.

Movie Gallery only gets the 1 discs (rent or sell)

thanks for the prices. looks like i'll be sticking with my amazon preorder for HP 2 disc for $21.99 unless best buy beats it.

Or if they come in ONLY 2D editions, then they get the 2-discers.

Yeah, $9 more. Talk about a screw job, bend over and spread your cheeks. It wasn't that long ago that the two-disc would have been the $13.99 promo... but that was before the studios decided to milk every last dime out of collectors who like extras. I hope their greed backfires on them.

Costco has the 2-disc Harry Potter on their site for $20.99, so it will probably be the same in-store as well. While that's not much of a break, it's still better than nothing.

None listed.

I thought I had read that the 2 DVD edition had been shelved or am I wrong?

Thanks! Harry Potter 2-disc, Howl's Moving Catsle, and My Neighbor Totoro for me. I'll wait for Best Buy's prices, I have a feeling they'll be better.

There were rumors / pseudo confirmations that the Jarhead 2D was postponed. Looks like that was true.

For those wanting to spend the extra $9 for harry potter, you may want to look at the list of extras first. It seems that most of the 'extras' are just little kid games. The only part of th eextras that I'd like to see would be the deleted scenes, but I'm not sure how many they've included.

I'm sure they could've fit SOME extras on the 1disc release, but I guess WB has decided to screw everyone over.

Thanks for the prices as always speedy!
Just a heads up for anybody who would like a deal on Harry Potter 2D. FYE (online and possibly instore) should have it for $22.99 with a $7 MIR.
Columbiahouse are having a B1G1 (or B2G2/B3G3) sale with free shipping both for people with fulfilled and unfulfilled accounts (both can use the $5 off webDVD deal if order total is more than $30). So the new Harry Potter 2D ed. which is $22.95 (preorder price, $24.95 once it has been released) can be bought and you can select a non-preorder DVD valued at $24.95 or less for free. Most states don't charge sales tx with Columbiahouse anymore.
I know mentioning CH here on this forum is kind of frowned upon, but since the prices for this particular DVD were less than impressive I thought I'd mention some alternatives out there.

Is this the version where Bruce Willis sings "Last Train to Clarksville" ?

Thanks for the prices.

Already have Jarhead 2 disc on preorder from Amazon. So now I need to see how much BB charges for Harry Potter 2 disc.

I hope you're feeling comes true with the Best Buy prices since I'm buying the same 3 titles you are (+ Shaggy Dog). The prices so far for them are horrid. Thanks for posting the ads though, Speedy. Definitely don't want to shoot the messenger just because the prices on my dvd choices suck.
