Costco Second Week of February Thread

I'm going later tonight to Costco, but feel free to begin adding to the topic. See ya later.

Sweet Baby James 02-08-06 10:05 AM

Don't forget to take a pad and pen.:D

Wallace & Gromit...Were-Rabbit - 15.99.

Several of this week's deals were reported at the end of last week's thread.

I went by the Costco at Perimeter Mall in ATL and didn't see the Cary Grant box (released this week). Anybody see it anywhere else?

Renee 02-08-06 07:29 PM

"Breakfast at Tiffany's" was priced at $11.99.

Cheaper than Best Buy by $1, and I believe that's the best price for this new release.

The Escapist 02-08-06 07:48 PM

I mentioned this in last week's thread, but this week my Costco had the Abbott & Costello Volume 4 box for $16.59, best price I've found, so I finally picked it up. Now to see if those cheap Mexican discs everyone's been complaining about actually play on my Panny...

dx23 02-08-06 07:53 PM

I believe the W&G Cracking Collection just contains the two separate W&G discs mentioned.

Fife 02-09-06 12:22 AM

They had a bunch of Warner 2-discs in Central Florida for $14.99... Treasure of the Sierra Madre, Yankee Doodle Dandy, East of Eden, Casablanca, The Philadelphia Story, Goodfellas, Unbearable Lightness of Being... that's all I can remember.

BSTNFAN 02-09-06 02:06 PM

The W & G Three Adventures disc rang up with an automatic $3 off, making it $8.99 in Nashua, NH.

From another forum member trying to maintain a weekly thread for his fellow members: YES, IT IS.

Good job though.

I go tomorrow.

dvdphilic 02-09-06 10:45 PM

I think posting threads like this has it own advantage.

The thread will focus only the current sale, so it won't develop to a long one and everyone can read through in minutes. This thread is just like BB, CC and Target's weekly threads, which nobody's complaining about their formats.

It's blade who gave us the luxury by keeping the Costco deals well organized, and now it's gone and I certainly hope someone can pick it up. Or at least the OP could do frequent updates on the 1st post.

I wish I could contribute more but my only Costco store is 1-hour drive away so I can only go there once each week.

I also saw My Fair Lady 2 disc with this group

misterchimpy 02-11-06 02:02 PM

Back to the Future had an instant $2 off at the register for $16.99 total.

Also, I saw a deal on Chappelle's Show Seasons 1 or 2, the Season 1 boxes had a sticker that said $8 off at the register if you bought both. However, lol, the store only had Season 1 in stock. I think it was 17.99 or 18.99.

gotrice487 02-11-06 04:55 PM

s1 Chappelle Show was $17.99 here (Honolulu, HI)

Pardon me, but dx23, will you please put up the "Costco Third Week of February Thread"? Half of the week's passed and we are eager to know the new deals. Thanks.

I've been looking for The Philadelphia Story. I've seen all the reduced-price WB Two-Disc Special Editions that last few times I went to Costco, but I haven't run across TPS yet. I'll have to go have another look. The ones I keep seeing are Unforgiven, Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves, Giant, The Treasure of the Sierra Madre, Casablanca, The Right Stuff and My Fair Lady.

Sorry, but I'm probably not going to be able to stop by costco this week, since I am working at a convention and haven't had the time to go shopping or do anything else for that matter.
