As far as Proof goes, was it that good a movie? I remember so-so reviews and yet there are a number of people who'll buy if it was under $20. Heck, even DDD has it for $21.59!

Cheap week for me next week. Will wait for a better version of Saw 2 hopefully with the blood pack cover like the first one.

Hmmm, it's cheaper than DDD even with the tax factor included. However, with the 20% sale, DDD is definitely better. So, it's a matter of wait... I was a little surprised that the first vol doesn't have CC. Not sure the 2nd vol will have CC either.

How does that laptop deal compare to typical laptop sales? Is this a decent one to look into?

Great price on Ape Escape 3 - was going to wait for it to $20, didn't figure I would only have to wait two weeks.

I think so and for that price, it appears to be great which is why I think they limited quantities.

Of course, it will NOT mow the lawn and walk the dog like some more powerful units.

Thanks for the heads up! I dunno how I missed that, but 29.99 is a fairly good price for 15 eps.

It seems neither of the big two have prices for MirrorMask in their ads?

The prices for Proof blow.

It should have at least been 17.99 here.

Well, guess I'll pricematch Saw II with the CC ad.

This is somewhat off-topic, but would you all recommend getting there early to pick the laptop up? I really, REALLY want this, and no way am I going to get there only to find them sold out. I was thinking of going at 9 (they open at 11), and just sitting in my car and reading a book in case someone lines up.

Thoughts?

I'm very disappointed to see no mention of the Tori Amos video collection (especially since they have a section of the ad devoted to music DVDs) and no mention of Mirror Mask either.

On the other hand I think I'm going to take advantage of the 2 for $15 deal to get Dawn+Shaun of the Dead.

I've found that on these limited items that the more you prepare (in terms of making plans to get there early, knowing exactly where in the store this item will be located so you can go right to it once the doors open, talking to employees in that department the day BEFORE the sale starts to find out who will be working the morning shift --- sometimes they'll put one "aside" as a courtesy to you because you really want it and you'll be there first thing), the more likely you get what you're looking to purchase. The prep tactics I've mentioned above have helped me tremendously and I find that as long as I'm friendly and courteous, the BB employees will usually respond in kind.

So... YES, I think you're plan of going early is on the right track. (I usually go an hour before in winter .... )

Good luck and report back!

It doesn't mean that both items won't be there for a fair price but rather that they're just not "BIG" enough to be featured in the ad. Check the BB website the day before to see what the probable in store price will be.

Grey's Anatomy: Season 1 >>>> $16.99?????

I'm assuming this was not a full 23 episode season.

i was astounded by how low the price was for a tv on dvd set, but then i read it only contains 9 episodes on 2 discs.
