That's how "re-releases" for price drops are handled/shown. NOTLD is part of a price drop - effective on that date.

I believe all the titles listed in this sale do... It could imply a price drop. As you can see, many of the titles listing that release date have already shipped to myself as well as others.

Is Eaten Alive even part of this sale, or is it just cheaper now?....cause if it's just cheaper, I can wait until the 20% Off sale and get it even cheaper. Also, are the It's Alive movies part of the sale or just a permanent price drop now? I've had those in my wishlist for a while and almost got them in the last big 20% Off Sale. I've already spent around $80 on this sale and don't want to spend more.

Stonecountry ---

I would make an educated guess that Eaten Alive is indeed part of the sale, and they might have just missed it when creating the sale page. It's showing up as a pre-order like all of the other Elite Titles I ordered (although even the titles that have already shipped initially showed as pre-orders prior to shipping) .

I would make a fearful guess that it's gone OOP, and that is why it wasn't part of the sale.

The Larry Cohen "It's Alive" trilogy is released through Warner. And the price on those two DVDs is sweet. I bought those babies when they first came out on DVD---seem to enjoy Cohen's films, from Black Caesar through God Told Me To and even Phone Booth, which he wrote the screenplay for. THE STUFF might be one of my all-time favorites...left a big impression on me when I first saw it on cable. It's only $6.06 at DDD

Where are you in SC? I'm in Indian Land...panhandle area of Lancaster County, several miles south of the state line.

Thanks for the info. Yeah, Larry Cohen makes some interesting films. I really liked Phone Booth. I thought it was a good Hitchcockian thriller. God Told Me To was surreally strange as well. I haven't seen It's Alive in years but remember it was hilarious in a B-movie sort of way. Never seen Black Caesar. Is it any good? I picked up The Stuff in the last big DDD sale in November for like $4.79. I haven't watched it yet though.

I'm in Walhalla, SC in Oconee County, the very North Western tip of the state, near the Georgia and North Carolina state lines.

I received my copy of Communion and it is indeed widescreen. I also see that DDD has corrected the description on the site.

Has ANYONE gotten Eaten Alive yet? It's the only title of those I ordered from the Elite sale that has not shipped yet. Worry begins to set in...

The only one that hasn't shipped for me is I Spit On Your Grave.

They shipped everything separate. So far I've received:
Popcorn
Communion
Re-Animator

Uzumaki and Eaten Alive have both shipped but I haven't received them yet.

I just noticed a temporary charge on my credit card for $8.45. ISOYG must be going out soon, it's the only one I have left that hasn't shipped.

Communion was the first one to ship for me. I probably got it two weeks ago. I just got "Eaten Alive" yesterday.

I still haven't received ISOYG either. I did get Re-Animator as a blind buy and I was not disappointed. I'm sorry I missed out on this film all these years. Very funny and the gore effects, with a few exceptions, still hold up well.
