YMMV Wal-Mart deal: Robots w/ CD soundtrack for $13.87
I was at Wally World the other day and spotted them selling Robots (the 2005 cartoon) in a "Wal-Mart Exclusive" combo pack that includes the full soundtrack CD for $13.87.
The movie alone, right above it, was $19.99. The $14 price rang up no problem, so maybe they are trying to clear these out. The soundtrack basically blows, but I got it for -$6, so I can't complain. They had both widescreen and fullscreen two-packs. |
Is this the score soundtrack or the soundtrack with actual songs?

Actual songs. Here's a track listing, since the case is right in front of me:
Shine - Ricky Fante (who?) Right Thurr - Chingy (who?) Tell Me What You Already Did - Fountains of Wayne Wonderful Night - Fatboy Slim Get Up Offa That Thing - James Brown (There's Gotta Be) More to Life - Stacie Orrico (who?) Love's Dance - Earth, Wind & Fire Low Rider - WAR I Like That - Houston, Chingy, Nate Dogg & I-20 (who? x 4) Silence - Gomez (who?) Walkie Talkie Man - Stereogram Robot City - Score track by John Powell w/ percussion from Blue Man Group As I said, the soundtrack generally blows pretty hard, offering evidence why, as much as I enjoyed the visuals and humor of Robots, it's no Pixar film. At least they have the good sense to leave crap pop songs off of the soundtrack. |
Thanks.
I was hoping for the one with the score, since as you said the other soundtrack is pretty much full of crap songs. |
