I was just thinking that I hadn't seen many good DVD sales at Walmart lately. Now I've got a reason to stop by there. Thanks!

I picked up Croc 2, and I also saw Grease 2. It's one of my wifes faves.

A Simple Plan for $4.88 is a terrific deal. That is one of my all-time favorite movies and one of Raimi's best directorial efforts. If you haven't seen this, pick it up. Great drama.

Right on! Great movie (especially at that price). Also recommend Uncommon Valor if you like action-packed "guy flick" with a solid performance from Gene Hackman training a stellar supporting cast for a Vietnam rescue mission. Not a classic but highly entertaining nonetheless with some classic testosterone moments. Somewhat improbable but reminiscient of The Dirty Dozen in a Rambo-ish way.

Im all over School Ties if and when I can find it (probably wont get to Wally World til Friday when I cash my check).

And is it me or does Wally World have like 4 or 5 different price levels now for their very cheap DVD's (3.50, 4.88, 5.50, 7.50, etc)????

Yeah, I saw this display today but they didn't have the price up.

Might pick up Rattle and Hum, Romeo and Juliet, and Catch-22.

I noticed Pretty in Pink was not the high school reunion collection release. Was there a big difference between the two?

If it's anything like the early release of The Breakfast Club, it's all about the original soundtrack music---one has it, one doesn't. A cursory glance through various DVD reviews would probably answer your question more specifically, should you care to research your own question.

Sixteen Candles was a HS reunion editon, not PIP. In addition, it's a Paramount title (which these all seem to be) whereas SC is Universal.

Bub, you might want to change your post to reflect that it's Escape from LA, not NY.

Also, I think it's Snow Day, not Snow Dog(s).

You can get the complete list by going out to Walmart.com

Drexl, you are correct...It is Snow Day, not Snow Dogs. I'm up for getting a copy of School Ties.
