I Love Lucy Season 6 $28 at Amazon
The 6th season of I Love Lucy is showing a MSRP of $39.99 instead of $59.99
that the other seasons are selling for. Amazon has it for $28 . All sites that have it up for preorder are discounting from $39.99 MSRP.
Maybe the other seasons will be reduced to that price when Season 6 is released in May.
Edit: As noted below price has been reduced to $26.99 and MSRP is now showing as $38.99.

edited to add: Oops, just noticed the part about other sites having the same MSRP. It's probably not a misprice then. Guess I should have waited to buy seasons 1-5; they're all still sitting on the shelf, unopened. D'oh!

This is strange because as far as I know there are only FIVE seasons of I Love Lucy...
I did a price search, and noticed that other online stores are selling this in the 28.00 range, too. Wonder why this season is cheaper than previous seasons?

I have an account with a major dvd wholesaler. The retail on this set will be $39.95. So you will probably be able to pick up for $29 when it is released.

It is just as likely that the other season sets will be reduced in price when season 6 is released. Kind of like Friends where the first few seasons were released at a high price and later seasons at a lower price. The first few seasons' price was then reduced.
