DVD Shopping in Las Vegas???

I'm from Canada and I'm going to Las Vegas this coming friday and I was wondering if anyone could suggest the best places to get dvd movies at good prices? Would places like Target, Best Buy, etc... be the places to go or are there some out-of-the-way places that may be better?

What places would be good for bargin bin dvd's?

Also, if anyone can suggest a place where a person could find rock music memorabilia (other than Hard Rock Hotel) I'd appreciate it. I'm a big KISS fan and would like to find items on them.

Thanks in advance! Please e-mail me here...... [email protected]

Going to vegas to buy dvd's, what a vacation! You can probably find a deal on VD's at the moonlite bunny ranch.

What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas (but not VD).

Every store I've been to (including some on that list) has horrible prices and you can do much better online. I'd really suggest skipping DVD shoppin in Vegas. Waste of time and cash. Since I moved here, I've moved all my shopping to online now.

Target can have some OK deals on 1 or 2 titles at a time, Tower is almost always full MSRP minus 10% or so (like Borders or B&N) and Best Buy and Circuit City will have 1 or 2 deals on whatever is released that day, and that's it.

Again, I'd skip it.

There's a memorabilia shop in Caesars Forum shops. Very expensive, but some cool stuff.

Please note that the Tower that was in the Forum Shops at Caesars is no longer there and is now an Express Men. I think there is a new Tower location down by the Galleria Mall off US-95 and Sunset.

Also, yes, there is a Fry's in Vegas, it is on Las Vegas Blvd. south of the Strip past the Mandalay Bay.

That's right! I saw one near the airport. Never got a chance to go there though.

I've been to this location a few times and got a somes, good advertised deals, but if shopping at the every day prices you can do much better online. Buy the Review Journal newspaper on Fridays to see an 8-page circular from Fry's.

I was last there about 3 years ago and cleaned up at CD Warehouse. Not sure if it is still there.

That was a Virgin Megastore in the Forum shops, not a Tower. Anyway, it is history.

Check out:

Fry's
Zia
Record City (Sahara location nearest Las Vegas Boulevard)
Tower (Sahara large store)
