Sweet, thanks for the prices! I'll definitely be picking up Wedding Crashers, and the new Dumb and Dumber dvd.

And where do we get this coupon for Smackdown on the psp? Is this catalogue in Best Buy's video game section?

I mentioned this catalogue all the way back in this thread right in my ad highlights section (the beginning):

I picked up the 42" panasonic plasma mentioned here in the ad ,(TH-42PD50U), @ CC for 1799.00 and used an additional 10% off coupon they had mailed to me for a decent deal, so you might want to check CC on that model first or try a PM with BB. By the way this set according to most sources I have reviewed was one the top selling plasma's of the year and when you see the picture, you will know why...it is just stellar. Clearly blew away all of the sets I compared it to side by side IMO-
Happy New Year Y'all

Ads like this make me feel stupid for shelling out $20 for Harold & Kumar a year ago.

Me too.

I had to search high and low last year to get Harold & Kumar Extreme Unrated at Best Buy. Their computer showed 2 in on the day of release but could not find them anywhere in the store.

I returned a few hours later and found them (where they should have been in the first place).

I don't feel as bad because I remember that they had a 2 for $20 deal on that title.

Does Best Buy carry any of the Warner 2-packs that Circuit City has (and Costco/Walmart had) for $9.99? For instance, Alexander/Constantine and Aviator/Million Dollar Baby?

I believe they do. I thought I saw some of these in the Orange, CT. store when I was there on 12/22/05.

re

Million Dollar Baby at 9.99 is awfully tempting. Most other places have this 2 DVD release for 19-25.00.

Unless you compare it to the "Million Dollar Baby"/"The Aviator" two-pack on sale at Circuit City for $9.99 this week. Same price plus a "free" copy of "The Aviator".

The MDB/Aviator 2-set thing is on "special order" at Circuit City's site - that's the widescreens, and I don't want fullscreen versions, which they have. Amazon has a 2 to 5 week delay on orders of the set and Best Buy's site doesn't list them as ready to ship either.

Why not just drop in to a Circuit City? Or order from Amazon - you've waited this long for it already - what's the rush?!

I went to my Circuit City... they had all of them except for Ocean's 12/Starsky & Hutch, and all of them were in Widescreen. They were in a bin, not on the shelf.

BlockBuster has Blade Trinity clearanced at $4.99, granted they are used copies but at half the price....

I see most of these on their web site EXCEPT for Harold and Kumar. For some reason, that is not included in the $9.98 disc sale and comes up as $13.98.

EDIT: Oh, I see now, you have to get Wedding Crashers first to get that price.

EDIT 2: No wait, you can only get the R version for $9.99 the Extreme Unrated will only go in your cart for $13.98.

I had to get a manager to do a price override to get the unrated widescreen Wedding Crashers and the unrated Harold & Kumar for $20.

At the Best Buy I went to today they have this board with different ads from other stores. So I saw an old ad with Madagascar and March of the Penguins for 13.99, so I got the cashier to do that. I also price matched Boiler Room and Dumber & Dumber Unrated. The only disappointing thing about Best Buy is that they sold out of The Mask so I settled for Starsky & Hutch for the Wedding Crashers deal.

Has anyone else seen the 3 for $30 or 6 for $50 display? Its got like these collapsible 6-pack type cardboard cases that you open up and put in the DVDs you want from the ones to choose from in the promo. It ends Saturday. Its online too:

FWIW, Best Buy has free movie tickets available on the racks in front of Resident Evil: Apocalypse and Underworld for Underworld 2. They are supposed to require a purchase of either of these two titles, but I brought one up and it rang up at 0.00, no questions asked.
