I saw Private Parts in the $5.50 dump at wally, but after tax it will be $6 anyway. These are not bad prices for these discs. Post links to better prices or troll elsewhere.

Here let me help:
Convoy:
Best Buy: $12.99 n/i shipping
Amazon: not stocked, but available form other users starting at $17.42 n/i shipping

Private Parts:
Best Buy: $5.99 n/i shipping
Amazon: $6.99 n/i shipping

Sorry you lose. What parting gifts do we have, Rod?

I heard there are no good quality releases of Convoy. If this is the latest one to be released (and I forgot the name of the "studio" that did it), I was told (in another older thread on this subject) that the picture quality is very poor and the picture is letterboxed incorrectly (squeezed).

I'd love to buy this movie, but I can't until it gets a proper release, and unfortunately I don't think this one is it.

Maybe not bad prices, but why now?

Convoy came out a coupla months ago at this price and Private Parts had this price drop about a year ago.

As mentioned, there was a thread talking (not so kindly) about the Convoy release in DVDTalk forum. Suggested reading before purchasing this one:

I'd imagine a good release of Convoy is coming at some point. I saw an incredibly beautiful remastered transfer of it in its proper 2.35:1 OAR on Showtime HD. Not sure where the rights are, but PEckinpah films are coming out more and more, so hopefully they'll get a decent copy of this out.
