(DEAD) DDD B1G1 Free Box Set Sale Through 12/15

Couldn't find any word on this, but there's a promotion on DDD right now that looks to be a nice deal for anyone looking to pick up some quality sets. The list includes 150 sets. Some nice stuff, too, like the first four seasons of Seinfeld, the Critic, all of the Sanford & Son, Rocky Anthology, and higher-ticket sets like the Woody Allen Collections, Pink Panther Collection, Harryhausen sets, and others.

I got to the confirmation screen, no discount for the second set. I couldn't find a code either. Anyone else?

So, if I understand this correctly, I can buy two Seasons of Stargate SG-1, for $32.xx, shipped?

Oh, mercy.

The discount doesn't show up in the cart for me. I want the first 3 seasons of Seinfeld for $30!

I think that they are still working out the bugs. I would try again in a couple of hours.

Yeah, the discount doesn't show up (assuming it's supposed to). It' a pretty sweet deal for the Woody Allen Collections 1 and 3. 14 of his best movies for $70 ($5 a movie). And the Seinfeld sets are pretty tempting also. No real rush as this sale runs through 12/15, so I'll let them work out the kinks.

This could be an incredible deal. At this point, I wish that I did not own Dawsons Creek. I may blindbuy the series of Stargate at that price as well.

Ok--it's working now. But be careful--if you do an order like this, it works out. But if you were to add in like Seinfeld Seasons 1-2 and Season 3, you would pay for the two more expensive Woody Allen sets and get the cheaper Seinfeld sets for free. So multiple orders are really a necessity to get the best out of this deal.

WOODY ALLEN COLLECTION (8DVDS) $ 69.92 x = $ 69.92
WOODY ALLEN COLLECTION 3 FREE 1 FREE

Why must they do this to me. Between the Amazon sales, and the DDD sale, and picking up 24 Seasons 2 and 3 from BB on Black Friday, I have spent way too much, for way too many movies and shows, that I have way too little time to actually watch. But I can't stop...

Agreed, Jeffery. I'm holding off until the 14th or 15th to place my orders since my checking account has been taking an absolute beatdown in the last month and I've barely shopped for anyone else. Still, these deals are too good to pass up and saying, "they'll be around again" is too risky to keep you from taking advantage of them here and now.

As an aside, this thread shows how a good bargain brings out the masses. I posted this, went and took a shower, came back and saw that the thread already had over 180 hits.

Wow. These prices are amazing. So far I've ordered:

NewsRadio S1/S2
The Errol Morris Collection

for $32.xx shipped.

I'll probably also get two copies of Seinfeld S3 (one as a gift) for $21.xx shipped.

I'm also looking at that Bergman set, but don't want anything else that's remotely that price. If anyone wants to go in on an order of two of those, email me.

Nothing I really need either....great sale though. Money could be made on some of the higher priced sets....but I don't want to hassle with that.

Ok, this might be a stupid question, but anyone know why Tour of Duty 2 & 3 are on there, but not season 1? I ask because my father-in-law would like this for Christmas and this seems like a great way to go.

Also, if I try to buy season 2 ($36.95) and season 3 ($31.79), I'll be charged $36.95 which is a great deal. Does anyone know if you can pricematch the items to make the deal even sweeter?

I was very annoyed to see that "Outer Limits-2nd Season" was included but "Outer Limits-1st Season" was not... but at least I would be saving $34.36 that I don't need to spend. Then I got to page 3 and saw "THE Outer Limits-Original Series."

I really wish I had a job....

question for anyone: I spent a bunch on the 20% sale recently and part of of was king of queens s3 and s4. for 21.24 or something like that each......
If I call will they adjust it to match what it would cost now? 29.xx something for both as its a buy one get one deal? Just curious on how people would think they would handle that, or any experience with this....
(I know I prolly wont really know til I try to call myself, but hey)

Probably wouldn't work but is worth a try. But their offer clearly states, "Previous sales excluded" and "not valid with any other discounts or promotions".
