(DEAD) Queen Crown Jewels Box Set - $5.00

Buy direct from Disney. These have been listed at $35.00, which is already a good deal, but now at $5.00.

Thanks... order 1 ;)

Rogue588 11-20-05 06:39 PM

Methinks this might be an error.

Someone's gonna get fired at Disney..

btlives 11-20-05 06:47 PM

Only 37 negatives in the last month.
Along with private feedback.

Check is in the mail.

Maybe everyone who was ever going to buy one already did at the higher price so they're dumping them?

Jtnguyen12 11-20-05 06:48 PM

23 copies left ;)

dsa_shea 11-20-05 06:54 PM

I'm a little concerned about all of the negative feedback. I have seen sellers who have thousands of feedback responses but are nowhere close to the negative this guy has. Also, keeping the comments private makes me think that there are some particular items being sold but aren't being sent out. I wish I could actually read one or two positives from people who have bought this particular set and I would jump on it. Thanks to the OP for the link.

I bought this set when it was first posted a while back. Arrived sealed in excellent condition.

Awesome! Thanks for the post. I always wanted this set when it originally came out but never bought it since I have already bought everything (for the 3rd or 4th time) when the remastered versions came out.

Great looking set. I was tempted to buy more but I limited myself to one. Hope others did the same. Thanks again!

Thanks for the post!

dsa_shea 11-20-05 07:11 PM

I went ahead and ordered one. Thanks OP!!! Now I just hope we get the damn things.

(All 50 sets sold in less than an hour. Some people bought several copies :()

DrGerbil 11-20-05 07:12 PM

Same here. I would buy more, but my friends don't deserve this set...

cck 11-20-05 07:23 PM

They just released 50 more. Just so it's clear, I have no incentive or benefit in this deal. I make no representations as to its validity. It may well be a mistake and who knows if it'll be honored. The seller is the Disney Corporation. There are a ton of negative feedbacks, but even more positives. Everyone make your own decision as to whether this is a good risk. This set is offered at Amazon for $122. Is it worth risking $5 to get one? You make the call for yourself. It's a no brainer for me.

i take it we are supposed to wait in order to use the disney checkout process in lieu of the ebay checkout

starman9000 11-20-05 07:47 PM

I gave it a shot, thanks for the link. It will make an excellent Christmas present.

SkullOrchard 11-20-05 07:49 PM

This is a great set. I paid about $100.00 for it three years ago.

blindrocket 11-20-05 07:49 PM

Thanks! I ordered one... this will go good with the deal on the Queen DTS DVD.

Rogue588 11-20-05 07:56 PM

If you're referring to the Wal*Mart "special", it's actually DD 5.1...

The Bus 11-20-05 08:19 PM

I"m more concerned about this awful review of the set, but at $5, this is unbeatable.

runner001 11-20-05 08:21 PM

I didn't realize we were allowed to promote eBay listings here.

also, if its truely Disney that's offering the item, why wouldn't they offer it on their own site instead of paying eBay fees?

$5.00 x 50 plus ~ $6.00 shipping per item = $550.00

and I'll second the suspicious nature of the high negative AND private feedbacks.

arsmith7 11-20-05 08:30 PM

ordered it. Not yet able to checkout on the disney deals website though... how long has that taken for most of you?

Yeah, me neither. Guess it may take quite a few hours to get on their system since they state 24 hours.
