No mention of a bonus DVD with WAR OF THE WORLDS at Circuit City??? According to their site, there is one (though no details are given about it). Oh, and on the Target ad, is the POLAR EXPRESS price for the 1- or 2-Disc set?

Welcome to DVDTalk fellow CAG member, you can finally get the credit yourself for putting these ads on here (you were still mentioned on here when they put the ads up though)

NOT GOOD: $26.99 War of the Worlds: LE at CC. Looks like I'll be bringing a Best Buy ad with me on Tuesday.

GOOD: $14.99 for King Kong and $4.99 War of the Worlds at Target.

I hope to God everyone recognizes that the $4.99 WAR OF THE WORLDS is the 1953 version...

Uh...yeah. I didn't buy it when it was first released because I was hoping someone would have it cheap when the new one came out.

I have a feeling that they mean it is the 1 disc with a bonus disc. Which we all know that is jut the 2 disc set.

So looks like BB for the LE set.

Hmm. Too bad the Seinfeld prices are unknown for both stores. That's what I most cared about.

Interesting that Circuit City also has an "exclusive bonus disc" attached to Aeon Flux. If it's the same disc as BB's, then maybe it'll also be included in online orders.

I've considered that and, in a way, I hope it's true because then I'll only have to worry about the Wal-Mart bonus DVD, but the Circuit City site does show:

Widescreen, Limited Edition, 2PC, Bonus DVD DVD

as opposed to (as a random example) THE POLAR EXPRESS, which shows:

Widescreen, Special Edition, 2PC, Amaray Case DVD

so the mystery continues...

I think the Walmart bonus disc is only on the 1 disc version.

Is that $2 for 20 Tombstone the old version, like what BB does all the time with their sales?

Which, if true, will be a pisser, but I'll still pick it up, then return the factory-sealed single disc version for store credit to use on my next round of groceries...

Judging by the price of Season 4 at CC and and the fact that Target only has one other possible price, I'm guessing 5 and 6 will be $29.99 at both places.

Since you get gift cards at Target, they would seem to be by far the best deal.

Is it possible that this is the earlier non-SE version? Even though it is OOP, maybe Target got a good deal on them from Paramount.

Anyone have an idea about the Narnia set that's 2 for 20? Is it the set that's been out for the last couple of years or are they gonna break it up? Thanks.

Wow, good catch I didn't even notice that in the list. I'd also be interested in knowing the answer to this question.
