If you have never seen this concert you owe it to yourself to check it out. Arguably one of the best live performances ever captured on film. The million dollar light show puts Pink Floyd in a class by themselves when it comes to an audio visual performance. Apparently the video is in the 4:3 aspect ratio, but would have to be a noticeable improvement over the VHS version. The audio is in 5.1. This is a 2 disc set with some bonus material. Release date is 12-06.

My apologies for the apparent double post. When I attempted a search for Pink Floyd the search feature had been disabled. Still noteworthy if you hadn't known of it's long awaited release.

Arguable, indeed. I prefer watching the boys in their youthful prime with little special effects on the Pompeii DVD concert footage (without the annoying digital effects of the 'director's cut'). Still, sad loss to see the release of one of the most important concert DVDs delayed.
