Retail is now $49.98 and the new sets come in slim cases instead of fold out packaging.

Right now digitaleyes has it cheaper with $34.95 each. And you could easily use the 5 off 60 or 7 off 80 codes or any of the others that are floating around to cut the price down even more if you buy more than one.

There is a complete set newly available in R2, but from the picture IMO it's ugly and would fit odd on a shelf. It doesn't even have anything extra thrown in for the fans.
I'm sure any R1 release would look different but that would probably be all if you use the buffy R1vsR2 as a comparison. The only difference between the two regions ended up being the artwork, the sets box design and extras were the same. Well there was also the aspect ratio difference but that doesn't really count.
So with no expected extras, a funky box style, and not being able to throw the movie dvd inbetween seasons 5 and 6 (where it belongs).... I'm not going to wait for it.
But don't get me wrong. If Fox desides to go all out with the R1 release and makes it something special, I'll be the first to sell the repackaged sets I will buy just like i've been selling my old sets now.

Personally, i think thin packs are better, save shelf space... From the responses, i guess i'll wait the complete set, bring it on! Oh wait, it gotta be reasonably priced first...
